back by popular demand here is another istock lightbox project.

For the rest of this week we can gather ideas.  Then next week will be voting and the week after we can place our images in the lightbox.  I think we can make two lightboxes - so we can pick the two topics with the most votes.

So right now we need ideas.  I will put all the ideas in the poll over the weekend.

If anyone wants to be the admin for the lightbox then speak up, we will need one, maybe two for each lightbox.  I can make and host the images... unless someone has a new design idea for the lightboxes...

voting is now open using all the ideas suggested (no - no more ideas will be added Smiley)

voting will run this week and the boxes will be established next weekend using the two topics with most votes.

Thanks for offering to help moderate one of the lightboxes madelaide, we can figure out how we will do it later on.

put the banner in your images (instructions in the this thread this post)
add links to your images in that thread
then I will add them to the lightbox

yeah that is probably true....

we could still use more helpers to add images to the lightboxes next week... if anyone is interested.  We could use 4 more without a problem.

Well, I only selected the ones that had direct relation with communication and leave a computer, a mouse, a chip... for "technology"

My point is that I think we should focus on more specific subjects (even though I also voted in the more generic ones). 

For instance, instead of technology we could have, besides the existing "communications", "computers", "science", "engineering".  Instead of "food" we could have "fruits", "vegetables", "chocolate", "desserts", "drinks".

I think this would be better even if each of us doesn't fill the five images quota.

We could also make a rule not to repeat an image in a new lightbox.   So even if we keep "technology" wide as proposed, images used in "communications" would be out. But that would require people's commitment not to simply delete the banner and yet stay in the lightbox.

i would love it to be food, as i am a newbie, and don't have anything else that fits your poll, except perharps summer.
but i just UL-ed 8 new images of food .
hopefully by the time this poll is decided, the images will be reviewed by IS AND published (fingers crossed, touch wood)  Smiley
