A couple of bucks have been bunged into my account for a royalty adjustment, presumable for the time the site lost track of payment levels.

This seems a reasonable sum but I notice that it is not itemised which I think was promised. It's probably very wise of them not to waste energy even attempting it.

Until now, I've received several of these mails.

My royalty adjustment is very low. Are they doing this in increments? I'm out, haven't really looked at threads. I want the sales itemized like they promised.

In the iStock thread on this topic they claim it would take another week or two to provide the details they originally promised, so they thought it better to give the money without the details.

They have offered to provide the information to anyone who submits a support ticket requesting it. My amount wasn't very large (sales were dreadful at that time) so for me it seems pointless.

The idea that they can't provide this formation in  short order is hard to credit - unless their internal systems are more primitive and/or broken than I realized. If I were still exclusive I'd definitely insist on a complete account of each sale at the wrong royalty.

Hmmm. I find all the "Ooh __ thank you!" comments in the Forum thread particularly vomit-inducing.

This is money that Istock 'lost' through the incompetence of their IT dept and has taken 2 weeks to return (if it is correct at all) without even the courtesy of an itemised explanation of how the amount was deduced.

Most of the 'thank you's' have probably come from contributors from whom Istock has swiped back thousands of dollars of commission from in the last year or so. Amazing really __ grab $k's of people's earnings then chuck them a few pennies back (that was theirs anyway) and they actually say "thanks".

If exclusives were paying attention at the time, it should have been pretty easy for most of them to work out what they would be owed. Because the difference in commission between 15% and 17% is less than the range of discounts they offer, I wasn't even sure whether my commission was being underpaid or not until this mail arrived.

I was paying attention and yes, the adjustment is almost exactly what I had calculated.
