This file has already 13 "5" ratings and 24 views and it is already in the Highest Rated Files (week sorted).
The same user has another file with only 10 "5" ratings, a plane on a blue sky.

Is this some kind of "vote mine and I will vote yours" strategy? In my opinion the file is not worth so many 5 ratings. Actually i would not even rate that one.

Yeah, probably reciprocal ratings. However, iStock have repeatedly claimed that ratings don't count for best match, and if that's his/her strategy it doesn't seem to be boosting dls artificially.

Since search results can also be sorted by ratings, ratings probably do ultimately affect sales.

Had not realized this was still an option! Not sure why this search exists since it only benifits people who spend their days playing this game.

Anyone else see some of the same names in both lists?

Ary6 - Bronze Crown 2007 - Member has 108 friends, just a friendly guy.
AlenaPaulus - Base 2011 - Member has 189 friends, just a friendly lady.
mehmettorlak - Bronze Crown 2008 - Member has 423 friends, very friendly guy!
BuddyFly - Base 2010 - Member has 16 friends, nice artistic lady.

BuddyFly Friend List, includes SkyF the first one. Interesting?

Anything on IS that says people can't be friends and share ratings?

Maybe I'm the one who's doing this wrong because I don't send and receive ratings. My top rated IS image has one rating! Shocked
