Shank how about you go over to luminous landscape forum and tell them how good Istock is. You'll have heaps more fun than here.

I like Shank. I have always liked him. And I don't want him banned.

And I love the way he likes to stir things up Smiley And the furious replies he never fails to get. Hahaha! I bet he's having a lot of fun Smiley
A while ago someone here called him the absolute Mr. Baiter.
I agree Smiley
He does that to perfection.

Don't go anywhere Shank, life is a lot more boring without you Smiley

PS On Topic
Unless Rebbeca decides to give back independent artists the 20% commission I signed for, there is no future for me at IStock.
Unfortunately.

Actually, Shank wasn't banned. He made a big point of starting a thread saying he was leaving of his own accord. I guess that was just drama (again). Then he came back using several different names and continuing his starting of useless threads. IF he was banned, which apparently he wasn't, it was because of that.

The only reason I can see that he is even here is because he HAS been banned at the IS forum and so he comes here to include the IS name anywhere he can to help cheer them on. Before he was banned at IS, he hardly ever showed up here. So he's not really here to contribute anything worthwhile, only to show his allegiance to IS, which we all know about anyway.  Roll Eyes

I thought the Shank was leaving. That didn't last long.  Sad

Seriously, more nonsense instantly.  I'm all for a perpetual ban here.

Come on guys, it's fun to have him around. I think he won't be impersonating anyone again. Plus I like to see opinions from istock loyalists, it makes a change from most of us bashing them.

That's an easy fix...just hang out at the IS forum instead of here.  Grin

Back to the original topic... I may have 2 (worse) choices...
1. iStock getting bigger and bigger. This means a lot of another arrogant employees and of course (due to the circumstances) 5% royalty. Ahh's Ohhhs' Hmmm's from the IS forum, and basically waiting another period until the 1% royalty (Another Ahh's Ohh's and Hmm' well, yes form the IS forum).
2. iStock falling and it's exclusives spreading over the existing agencies, diluting the 35.000.000 images pool with another 15.000.000, resulting an another 50% overall royalty fall.
After this doesn't matter, year 2012 is the end of the (microstock) world.

BTW. If really I decide...
- law-controlled media agencies, no royalty under (the worse) 75%, contributor rights protected
- upload as many files I want
- more than 1 reviewer per image or automated reviews (quality, keywords, etc.)
- fast uploads, forget the categories, the "I understand" checkboxes.

There people who post constantly, incessently, helplessly even, especially on the political sites, because they just like sticking their fingers in people's eyes and getting people mad, getting a reaction.  Many of them have revealing titles, such as "nobama". I thought shank might be such as handle because of its common meaning.  Anyway, many such posters just create continuously counterproductive motion and noise and irritation to no useful end. I don't know about this one but these often don't seem like serious questions, more of just a desire to get on the screen endlessly.

What was Thommo alluding too in his departed post.....Admins were only allowing posative comments on the forum about his departure but it was quite clear our content is going to be split further than just the PP.
will the future be a smooth transition(  Shocked)
and leave Istock with the premier,Agency+Vetta files, only for sale.
Interesting times ahead....

Sorry, CClapper.
I don't know much about IStock's forum. I barely visit that site.
Whether Shank is banned there or not, I don't know and it makes no difference to me.
That was not my point.
I was talking about here, about this forum.
I don't want him banned from here.
That's a -1 from me.
I like him. And I don't want him to go anywhere. Stay here Shank, you've got a supporter in me Smiley

And by the way, any news about your wonderful sales on Thinkstock? Smiley
Hahaha, it's time to start that one again Smiley

I guess you didn't really even read my post. Or the thread where Shank decided he was going to leave of his own accord. That's what I was talking about. Please...point out to me where I said anything about me wanting Shank banned (though really, that would be ok with me, as his rhetoric seems to be just repetitive). Neither you NOR I have the power to ban anybody, so the whole point of this back and forth is truly moot. Nuff said.  Wink
