Title: Video question
Post by: hroe on March 01, 2016, 01:55
I didn't upload video for a couple of years now and I see the system changed. I understand I need to use the ESP through espaws website. I got that.
Now (and this I can't find online), do they still require you to send the HD, NTSC and PAL versions along with a thumbnail?
It's not clear as the latest videos uploaded on their site have different sizes that seem to be generated automatically.
So, do they still need the 3 formats or just one HD?
Thank you for your feedback!

I'm pretty new to iStock, but I've never had to upload a thumbnail and all of my stuff is automatically down-converted if required.

The whole upload system has been streamlined. Upload your HD files and thats it. No thumbnails and no PAL / NTSC versions.

The old system required that you upload thumbnails. I think they still have the old instructions on Istock. You must upload using their new system.

Here's the link to all the user stuff. You have to create a new account with Getty to upload this way.
