Hello!

I use one Profoto D1 500 Air with AirRemote and shoot with Canon EOS 6D.
I also have Canon SpeedLight 430 EX II flash.

I want to use Canon flash for making background go white, and I have a question - how can I trigger it with my equipment?

I see that I have 3.5 plug in AirRemote, and i also have PC sync plug in 6D. I want to trigger 430 EX with cable.
What should I use and how to interconnect everything?

You can buy a simple hot-shoe adapter for 430EX

The 430 EX II has a slave mode. That's far easier.

Off topic, but how low in power can the D1 500 go? It might be too strong even at it's lowest setting to use the speedlite to light a white background.

D1 500 energy range: 7 f-stops (7,8-500 Ws).
But I can't find 430 EX energy range.
