Lucky Oliver has been closed for an "upgrade" for over 24hours now.  Seems like a long time, most sites can sort that out in a few hours.  I just hope it comes back with a paypal payment option and some customers Smiley

It just came back after I made that post.  Typical Roll Eyes

Still no paypal option.  How hard can it be to set that up?  I am not giving them any more photos if all I can get is a US cheque.  Too much money goes on bank charges in the UK.

Screw Paypal, I want Moneybookers Grin
Seriously now... Paypal isn't the greatest for countries that don't accept paypal. South Africa only accepts Moneybookers.

Either paypal of moneybookers would be fine for me.  Every other site offers these options so I think there is no excuse for Lucky Oliver.

I would upload my 2,000 images if they sorted this out and offered at least 50% commision.  At the moment, it just isn't worth the effort.

Cheesy Cheesy  I can only laugh as I read this thread...   with only 7 sales on 6 pictures since early September...  I won't be worrying about paypal or moneybookers for a looooooooooooooooong  time.  I sure hope my sales pick up on LO soon...  I sure am racking up views, but no sales.  Got some nice comments but no sales...   I may need some personal advice from bryan... either I'm doing something wrong, or, my pix just suck...   LOL   Cheesy
Either way, I'm hanging on in LO.  If I don't sell my pix, maybe they'll feel pity for me and give me a job... that'd be sweet.. ha ha ha ha ha.
Does that sound pathetic?  yeah, it does...  Cool   --tom

Agree on that , Paypal started to do business in this part of Europe not long ago , but its like one way train , we can only send money from the bank to paypal account but the other way around is not possible.

Hi!

I'm not in OL since very long and didn't get much in my piggy bank yet, but for me they are the site that take less time to upload. And I'm doing worst somewhere elses, so I'll gave them a long long chance to make me doig some money and will continue uploading there, because I like their way.

I like the way they take time to give a personal reply to us after the review of our photos. As soon they will become much bigger, they will probably not be able to continue this, but for now I enjoy it, because I'm not in photo stock since long time, (should say not in photography since long time, so I really appreciate to receive all those cues.

I'm in Canada, so for me the way to receive payment is not an issue, but my preference is for Moneybooker. I hope they will add moneybooker and paypal in near future for all of you who need it.

And I hope they will eventually add a French version (an other languages) for customers, so more and more potential customers will be attracted by this site.  :-)

I have seen a post recently, for a bunch of people who would like to exchange comments on OL. If you don't mind to have bad English syntax comments, I would like to join. I suppose it's those people in the "Lucky Oliver portfolios" list ?!

I'm not due for another DL for another 4 months.
I got one in December of last year. I think we're
only permitted one DL every six months on LO...right?

15 dl's since September for me.  Guess I don't have to worry about the payment method for at least 2 or 3 more years - lol
