Congrat's!!!

How far from payout are you.  Has anyone actually had a payout yet.

RANT WARNING!!!: I hope they aren't spending all our commission  Shocked or if they are, that they are putting it into advertising.  Google may be one thing but designers dont look for images on google! and they are the ones with the money.

i am far from payout. All the photos i have sold since i joined in sept last year is less than half of what i got from this single ELS. I can count with my fingers the numbers of total photos i have sold so far at LO.

Congratulations on the sale!

In regard to whether anyone is getting payouts, the answer is yes. Please go back and read Bryan's blog post:

Granted LO isn't in the top 5 yet... but patience Grasshopper (reference to old American TV show heehee)

am i the only one that thinks bryan is very vague Huh
who were the two photographers?
what do buyers actually buy and have any sales actually come from the outside or is everyone still using their tokens left over from uploading....

unfortunately, to me LO is looking more and more like a circus, all smoke and mirrors...

last time i checked google for "stock photos" LO was nowhere to be found.
did a search on my name and LO did show up....I am in it for the money, not the vanity.
I will hang in there for a while but dont think I will be uploading more until the sales are actually there....not sure i like the idea of them telling everyone they can sell our stuff on zazzle either.

but hey thats just my gut feeling.....

congrats on the sale!
may you have the next payout!

Some people (who are at LO) get payouts in less than a week at some sites.  So the fact they have paid out to two isn't anything special.  Others are waiting for Paypal but he makes no mention that they are actually working on it.  It isn't as if setting up a paypal account is difficult.

I am still there and haven't lost my patience yet but we can only do so much for no reward.

Peiling,

Congratulations.  Certainly this was exciting news.

And I was already happy that I sold one image there today, making 30c!  Wink

Xenia,

Are these your first submissions?  Because lately reviews have normally not taken more than two days (they used to be faster).

I had a look at the LO web site and browsed around.

I noticed the 'statistics' page - top keywords, images etc.  This page has not been updated since November.  Interestingly it still shows the most used keyword as 'christmas'.......

Do I want to be associated with an agency that cannot be bothered to supply realistic and up-to-date information?

No.

.......did a search on my name and LO did show up....I am in it for the money, not the vanity.

Name-wise, some days I'll come up with a dozen or more LO hits on Google.  I also come up on Alta vista, MSN, Dogpile, Yahoo  and others with multiple hits. Also, multiple hits when I 'google' the name of a picture....    But then again, I get hits on my name for BigStock, DT, FT and StockXpert.    Sadly, I get the most hits on my name for LO, but no sales, just views racking up.
I'm still hoping things will break loose soon at LO.  The bulk of  what I have at LO is selling like crazy at SS and others, so  I kind of  ..dont' think it's me or my work.

Void --- what's this  Zazzle thing?   I must have missed something!! Was this on the blog or... where'd did you get that info. PLEASE,  fill me in.
 Cool -tom

Well that'll teach me to read the fine print with more attention!!
My wife has a Zazzle site where she sells all those products with her and my pix attached. Many of those pix on LO
That's just great...  now someone can pick up one of my pix, paste it on a t-shirt and compete against me with my own picture! And all I get is $25... and the guy could sell a gazillion t-shirts?
Speaking of pictures,  what's wrong with this one.  I have to rethink this stuff.        Huh  -tom

On the other hand... with only 7 sales since September, I guess I don't have too much to worry about anyway.....  funny, the stinken pictures sell well on my wife's t-shirts for $20, but I can't sell 'em for 33 cents...                 Tongue go figure.

Xenia - I looked at your portfolio on LO.  Many very marketable and commercial images there.  Are you selling through the other agencies?  What are your experiences at, say, SS and IS with those images?

Sales are really slow for me (15 so far), but the site is very new, so I keep confidence on them.
