I really feel like I have a touch of stardust these days.  A couple weeks ago I was celebrating having an EL sale and finally realizing some modest but consistent sales from a model released shoot...

I entered some pictures in the Lucky Oliver Turn Down that Noise contest and they liked my "Little Boy Gots da Blues"
http://www.luckyoliver.com/blog/show/182

There were only 130 or 140 sumbissions including a dozen or so from myself, but I just can't believe how good the recognition feels!  I hope it's okay to share with my MSG friends?

I'm not usually very big on entering contests, but I'm glad I tried this time.  I set up this shot just for the contest, and I liked the winning photo of my son so much I had already printed up a large print (of a slightly photoshopped version).

Now that I feel so inspired I better get busy!

Thank you everyone!  Okay, my feet are touching the ground again.

Looks like it should be a poster for Fender Guitar or something!

Except I had to clone the Fender logo off the guitar!! LOL.

Well done! It's a great image - excellent lighting, great composition and lots of movement.

A clear winner, no matter how many people entered. Congrats!

Thanks guys.  I haven't been able to really study it yet but I think that I will really enjoy the Imageonic software suite... especially the Noiseware and Portraiture...  to a lesser degree the Real Grain.  This is the first stand alone noise reduction I've owned and I'm very impressed.

It works just fine within PhotoShop, but if anyone needs to know the product says that it works with Corel Paint Shop 10, and I have 11 and it doesn't work within that program.

Here's a link that was on Dreamstime earlier this week

Khwi - I loved your violin with music notes.  It's a great stock image so I think you are already a winner!  So far the "winner" has been downloaded once and that was for the LuckyOliver blog!

Pixart,

Let us know what you think about Noiseware.  I am curious about how it performs in comparison with Neat Image and Noise Ninja.

Regards,
Adelaide
