Some FTP sites allow only one smultaneous connection from a client.  As far as I can recall, FileZilla tries to establish at least two simultaneous connections so it can upload at least two files simultaneously.  Some FTP sites just don't support this.  I haven't been using FTP with BigStock, but I have seen it with at least one of the other sites.  This is causing one of your problems: the one where you see only the first file is uploading.  The only solution I have found, is to upload only one file at a time and not try to send a whole batch in one go.  It can be tedious though.

I am not sure what is causing the other problem, the one with a file being uploaded more than once.  I have seen it happen once or twice with sites that automatically move your files from the FTP folder to your images folder on the site, as opposed to the sites that tell you to click a button when you are finished uploading.  It looks like there is a connection, but I haven't figured out yet exactly what it is.
