As I understand it, the people section will be separate from the other images, so hopefully won't steal business from them.  To be honest, I doubt someone looking for an object or still-life would be downloading a person instead, and visa versa.

I don't know about that Lisa, looking at the GL Collection makes me think that all photos are going to be in one place, I hope I'm wrong.

Looks like a very fair agency. How are your sales?
I shoot many European cityscapes and landmarks (they sell OK on IS, SS and midstock) , is it worthwile to contribute them to GL? Are your sales significantly below 123 or Canstock? Or maybe above?

I am not a native speaker of English, but if you ask me, I think the agency name kind of sucks...
However, if they are a decent earner, I would prefer them than a parasitic site with a cool name.
They aren't as good as 123rf or CanStockPhoto at the moment but compared to other newer sites, they are doing well.  The upload is so easy, just FTP and that's it, if you don't need a model or property release.  I also like the design and speed of the site and I think that gives them an advantage over most sites.

My experience with them has been pleasant so far.  I have about 850 photos at the site.  I wish them well and hope they attract a ton of customers from other agencies (especially hellman and friedman).

I can't address the sales issue.  They only started adding the people collection to the site today, so way to early to know how sales are going to be.

I have about 500 non people shots on the site for less than a month and one sale, which paid $3.12.

Hopefully as my port builds I can make steady sales there.  The site is in it infancy, but it is run by people with many years of design and stock experience, so I am cautiously optimistic.

I hope they invite me up load my people shots. I've only been uploading my images there since the end of Sept. and have 3 sales on about 600 images totaling $9.36. I too am hoping for good things  from this site.

I had some sales (from my 150 photos) early on, but it died down.  Nothing at all in October.  I am 60 cents from my first payout and apparently will remain there forever.  Smiley

I agree stocktastic.  If I compare it to other smaller sites like, say, Yay it feels like a much higher quality site all round and I am sure it will become a good seller over time.

Has to be worth taking the time to build up the portfoliol.

I'm doing well at GL. Regular sales, monthly payouts, good referral earnings, etc. And at 52% royalty, I don't feel like I'm selling my soul. Smiley

Definitely recommend GL for vector folks.

I eat those words.

I just made a sale and have achieved Payout!  I will now immediately shoot 1,000 more photos.  As soon as I can think of some more subjects. Smiley

Ok, then I do believe in the DL Fairy.  Because the one that just sold is my favorite, and it was rejected by a very large agency, the name of which we dare not speak.

Yes, 3 people images in November.  Two of them were Christmas photos.
