Out of NYU: A multi-point, pressure sensitive, cheap, scalable touchscreen interface which, among other things, lets you use your fingers to sort and enlarge photos and manipulate a scaling 3D Earth model (yes, the Earth you"re currently sitting on). The next step in the research is reportedly the development of a booger-proof surface material.
