I've been fighting with them for over a month for my first payout.  I've called, I've e-mailed, I've done everything, and all they say is that the matter is "being reviewed".  I'd like to know if anyone else has had this problem.

So, how long have you been waiting?

I sure hope they don't have problems with payments...

Don't quote me on this but from what I can remember a while ago there we're instances whereby some people were uploading portfolios of stolen images to a site (can't remember if it was Fotolia or not) and as a result of this I seem to remember it was mentioned that in the future all new submitters would have to wait a grace period before they got their first payouts to make sure they weren't 'fly by nights'. Maybe that has been implemented by Fotolia.

I can assure you that once you've been there a while payouts are regular and prompt except for the occasional delay every once in a while when the person with the keys to the cash box has a week off.

That makes sense ^^.

I second the regularity of payouts.   They usually pay within a few days or a week.

It's been a little over a month.  I sent an e-mail to the director of operations two days ago, and he responded by asking me for my login.  This is the 3rd or 4th time I've been asked this same question.  Haven't heard anything more.  I have my image on several sites, and I have never had a problem getting paid.I'm on the verge of telling them where to stick their money and closing my account.

Your wait may indeed be due to a waiting period but they seem to be having a longer than normal delay on payments right now for some reason.  (At least for me...) I've been waiting on a payment since July 2nd, which is a bit unusual. Seems I'm not the only one.  There's a locked thread on their forums where some folks have been waiting since June 26th!  Anyone else been paid lately?

I requested my last payout on July 08, received payment via paypal on July 14. Nothing out of the ordinary for me.

Hmmm, very strange.  Thanks everyone for letting me know.  I've sent a message to support.

Well, I got the typical canned response:

Quote
Dear Amy,
We apologize for the delay. Our customer support department is currently processing these payments as fast as they can making sure that they are done accurately after they have been validated. It can take between 2 to 3 weeks
Kind regards,
Fotolia Team U.S
718-577-1321

Of course that doesn't explain why some folks have been getting timely payments within days of requesting as described in this thread.  Oh well, not a lot I can do about it I guess but sit on my butt and wait...........   Cry

I am also waiting for my payment which was requested in early July. FT's reply to Amy makes me wonder if they are checking for inaccuracies, refunds and credit card issues before sending us the payments. The word "accurately" is interesting because it implies that some of the payments were not processed accurately so they are more careful now.

I've been waiting since 2nd July which is unusual, they are normally quite prompt.

It looks like processing of payments is done via the regional offices. I am at FT Germany, so a short wait there probably does not imply anything for folks at FT UK or US.

I am in the US, I got an FT payment yesterday, it took 8 days, a little longer than usual.

Never have payment's problems there. Usually 3-7 days.

This is usually the same for me, however, I am also in the US and I've been waiting nearly three weeks. In fact I can't request any new payments until this has been cleared, so I have a backlog of waiting payments now. I wrote to them and got the standard cut and paste reply to wait 2-3 weeks.
Ho hum....

I finally got paid this morning, after a 20 day wait.  I immediately requested another payment and pray it doesn't take equally as long to receive.  I've never had to wait that long with them before.  Good luck to the others who were still waiting.

I find them erratic in payment, one payment will take about a week and half then the next 2 days (never had to wait 20 days though).

I had put it down to be being a boring job like keywording or something and the person responsible keeps finding other things to do Smiley

I got paid today also.  Fotolia are actually the only site that IS paying on time for me lately.

StockXpert I have been waiting for a paypal payment over a week, in spite of the fact that they say it will take 3 days.  They used to be regular as clockwork, too.  Only recently since Getty seem to have abandoned them I have a really hard time getting paid.
