I am going to purchase a tool to automate the pics submission process but I am not clear enough which SW is better, Cushy Stock or Prostockmaster?

Thanks for sharing with me your experience with those two tools.

Cheers!

Antonio

Prostockmaster is Java-based (slow) but because of this its pretty platform-   independently you can use it on Mac and Windows.
Cushy is windows-only.
So you only have a choice if you are on windows.
i have only real experience with cushy (tried prostockmaster only as a demo a while ago). I think feature-wise probably cushy wins (though prostockmaster have an unique translation-tool).
Cushy is a nice software but also pretty slow and certainly have some bugs and at least on my computer its not fully stable.
It would be a big time saver if all features would really work fast and without problems but i'm loosing time to work around some bugs. Overall i would still recommend it but with reservation i would prefer that the developer would concentrate on working on the bugs and speed for a while instead of adding new features.

I'm a mac user, so the choice was easy: Prostockmaster. I'm satisfied about the programme. Oke, there is always something to wish, but they are also developping, and listening to the customers.
It's fast, but I have never used Cushystock, so I can't compare those two

You can both get as a demo so test it yourself on your own computer. Everyone has different tasks. I as an example use it for several thousand files (i guess this is the reason of many of my problems).
I highly doubt that Prostockmaster is faster than Cushy! IMHO they are both slow.

I love prostock master. Easy to use crosss platform ability. Easy choice.

Cushy Stock's advantage is that the user can add custom stock sites. Personally, it has a better interface for me.

Cushy Stock just offers more features.  And the author has been "fairly" responsive to fixing bugs.

Well, I see that you posted it BEFORE that you read my last post :-)

I started using Prostockmaster this month. I'm very happy with it. It doesn't use as many tabs as Cushy Stock, which makes it faster for me personally. You can get up to speed on the interface very quickly.

I haven't had any problems like program crashes. It can get slow at times, but it's a good program.

Each has bugs, just choose which ones you want to live with.
I do not know what to choose - damaging adobe-specific data in PSM or loosing individual image status in CS (really, not loosing, but now I see several dozens of rejected in DT files as being approved)

(OTOH choice in these two cases is pretty trivial, second one does not damage images)
