Just for your information :
Work fine for me :  Shutterstock, Istockphoto and Dreamstime.
Do not work :
- Fotolia (custom)
- Canstock (worked until last week, don't understand why it doesn't work now)
- 123rf (I expected that, this won't work until they change their login system)
- Graphicleftovers :  temporarily no uploading this week, they're working on their backlog

Still, I'm happy as long as Istockphoto keeps on working!

How can I know or where I can see if my images are on the queue for upload?
I am waiting since yesterday to see my images on agencies...

Borg, I think that means it is not working for you either.  When it was working my images showed up in a few minutes, never more than an hour.

Still broken for me too.

O thanks!

Usually it works for some agencies...  But last time, none!

Hi David

Hope the trouble shooting is going well! Can you let us all know when you think this will be fixed. I have a large stack of images that I am holding back until it is clear which sites they will be distributed to.

Lightburner is one of the few services in microstock that I would definitely pay for. I upload to about 22 sites and having the ability to just send my files to one location and see them all distributed to all sites is a great service. If you could extend that to some video sites, it would be awesome. Have you thought about starting to charge for anything above the main 4 sites, perhaps and building up the support team? I, for one, would pay monthly for this service.

Sorry I have to joint the Bad News Club :  just noticed that none of my channels is working right now.

The good news is :  we've got snow here in Belgium today, and I LOVE snow!

More good news!  I spoke too soon :  Istock just received all my uploads, so may-be the others will follow.
That 'll teach me to be impatient.

OK, I'm back again with more news :
Worked perfectly :   Fotolia (custom), Istockphoto, Shutterstock, Dreamstime and Canstockphoto.
I did not try 123rf.

I tried an experiment tonight with one image - it got uploaded to 12 sites (not 123RF, nor Fotolia, Veer and a host of other sites). I have asked this of support in the past - is there a limit to the number of channels you can upload to?

As I said before, I would really pay for this service, but we need to know what its limits are.

Maybe I wrote too early! After my successful experiment with one image, I uploaded the next 180, but they are not being distributed, at least so far. No worries just yet, but it has been about 10 hours since they arrived.

I'll update when I see some more progress.

I was testing the system this weekend, was switching off the automatic distribution.
So some of your images could be uploaded when I ran my manually tests.
Now I put the auto-distribution back, looks like all images for all customers are being distributed.
Will take a few hours to empty the queue.

Could you check the main sites. I have had my files distributed to 8 small sites, but none to SS, DT, BS CanStockPhoto

Fixed a few things related to distribution.
As far as I can see the queue is gone, how it looks now?

Yes, it looks fine - the main four sites have been distributed now.

Is there an upper limit on the number of channels I can have? I still have a range of sites (including Veer, Deposit Photos, StockFresh) that have never distributed even though they are apparently properly registered with those sites for FTP.

Tried it tonight. All channels - both default and custom - worked perfectly (except ClipDealer, but it's probably a problem on their side since I can't even FTP directly). Thanks.

Thanks David.  In fact it should also be Istockphoto who needs to be thanking you, as I would not be uploading anything to Istock if LightBurner did not exist.  Doing it manually is just too much work.

Great, happy the issue is sorted out.

Steve,
No, there is no upper limit on number of channels you can have.
If you still have problems let me know what channels do not work for you.

David, everything seems ok, but Veer. I am not even able to enter my credentials (error message) - it used to work well. I even tried to set a custom channel but it did not work either. Thanks for help

The working ones are:

SS, DT, BS, Canstock, Yay, Panther, Cutcaster, iSign, Zoonar, Most, Photodune

The ones that don't work are:

Crestock, Veer, Clipdealer, Fotolia, Scanstock, Deposit, 123, Stockfresh

Some of these I set up as FTP, but appear to be connecting fine in the Channels section, except for 123 that never seems to connect at all.

Graphic Leftovers didn't work but I think their FTP is down.

Thanks Steve.
Since HTTP (web) access did not work for some channels I switched them recently to FTP. Here is the list
From your above list it includes Crestock, Veer, Fotolia, Deposit, 123.
So if you previously used one of these you can delete it and set it up again using your FTP credentials.

Scanstock and Stockfresh - I checked your definitions and FTP works fine there. However, I could not see any media assigned to these channels - could you please verify?

Clipdealer' FTP is down:

Hi David,

Due to some maintenance work on our server the FTP is currently down. I'm not sure how long this will take so please try it again next week.

Kind regards,

Markus Hein

Thanks David

I've changed my channels for the sites you now use FTP for, and I noticed that I didn't have the "automatically submit on upload" button checked for Scanstock and Stockfresh - my mistake!

I'll test again now that I have hopefully fixed the issues.

Steve
