Moneybookers now wants fees from every payment i get, it's a hefty 2.9% from every incoming payment!
Anyone else experienced this? I guess i switch back to check or paypal!

Is there a difference? I suppose you want to get your money at some point.

What are you talking about?

I received yesterday a payment from StockXpert, and didnt pay any fee for receiving. You must have been created some wrong type of account, or something.

for me, moneybookers is the best option there is.

just few munutes ago, I got another payment from DT, and again - no fees at all. I love moneybookers! I will make a tattoo "I (hearth symbol) Moneybookers" on my forehead. I love it that much.

I can see currency conversion fee of 1.75% and a flat fee for withdrawals but nothing about 2.9% for receiving the money!

The 2.9% is in the merchants account fee table, in what they call "check out":

I recall similar discussions happened with PayPal too. You need can (and in my opinion should) argue with Moneybookers that you are not a merchant. Getting your artist' commission does not mean being a merchant - you are not providing any paid services to anybody neither sell any goods.
