You may want to more emphasize the "teaching" aspect of it. Otherwise, it just comes across as a bunch of hot girls pouting, and some guys standing around with cameras. There were 2 or 3 shots of guys that could look like teaching, but if I were going to learn, I'd want to see someone showing the model how to pose while talking to the photographer or something. Of course, you may have had to pull this from previous footage so that might not have been possible. Also, more on the makeup and prep work to show how important that is.

Just some thoughts.

I would say for someone that is looking to start out in glamour it may be value added to give direction and aspiration, but from a stock imaging perspective there is not much to take away.

As a stock shooter I would be looking to come home with a set of good commercial images with releases, that I could prepare and upload to use longer term, just to return some revenue towards the costs.

The other benefits I would look for is the working location and environment, tips and tricks on content, a theamed shoot, and the stock models that I would normally not have access to due to the costs of setting up a shoot.

It might be a pitch to the wrong audience here, if you target macro or micro shooters then the value must be based on upping their skills and improving revenue streams on macro or microstock websites.

I appreciate the feedback and yes this video is put together from footage from the past workshop. As we gain more footage it will be possible to be more specific ion the visual message we deliver. There will be many more videos in the future as they are great tools for SEO.

Who says you can't come away from one of these workshops with viable stock photos?

I built my studio Vegas Vision Studios on the earnings of my microstock portfolio which is predominately Fashion / Glamour stock. We provide full commercial releases at all our Weekend With The Masters Workshops and the working format of these workshops allows the attendees to concept there own shoots and come away with unique content. These are not gang shoots, you get the opportunity to shoot content that no one else is shooting. Creating stock in a situation like this is no different then creating stock in the studio or on a walk down the street it is a simple matter of how you see the scene and composing the shot accordingly.

Anytime a photographer learns new lighting, posing techniques it is going to translate into them being a better photographer which translates into producing better stock. While this particular series is not specifically focused on stock, given my background in stock you can be sure there is ample discussion about stock.

For those that would prefer a totally stock focused workshop we do about 4 of them a year as well. The next one is coming up in Phoenix Oct 4-5
