Today I got all my "RM to be" images rejected by Zoonar with the reason that "We can't sell this photo with the Zoonar RF license for legal reasons"

Well, the reason I submit to Zoonar and Alamy is that I can do RM for my editorial images and let them deal with the licensing. One of the images is Feather Falls in Oroville, which can be sold as RF as far as I know, the others are iconic places in SF that cannot be sold as RF but are widely available on other sites as editorial.

Go figure that one out.  :-X

Hi Alessandra,
your photos came in with RF.
Plesse check your License default setting at "my profile / edit profile".

Best,
Michael

Honestly, I thought that RF was the DEFAUT of zoonar, and that we could change it to RM later after accepted.

Michael could you please clarify? Does it mean that we cannot sell editorial images as RF at Zoonar? If you require editorials to be RM on Zoonar, does it mean that I cannot submit editorials which are already sold as RF elsewhere (Shutterstock), for example?

Also, do I understand correctly that there is no way to instantly delete image from Zoonar if I have to? I heard people were saying that one have to wait 6 month before image can be permanently deleted from your database. Is it true?

I don't mean to answer for Michael, but what he was trying to tell me is that I had a default RF upload on my preferences and when the images were reviewed they were rejected because those images should be RM.

I had understood initially that the images could be uploaded as either RM or RF but that after key wording then we had to choose the correct license. Since I changed my default upload to RM I have had no problems with rejection images that need a release but don't have one.

Sorry, I just read this today. Im not often here...

Our default is RM. If you submit Photos with RF License we do a check for legal issues. So please choose RM for your uploads.
We also reject some kind of Logo or packaging Shoots with RM License.

Kind regards,
Michael

Is Zoonar a foe of Superman? What planet is Zoonar from? :)  Sorry couldn't help it, just found the name funny.
