Title: CSV Metadata
Post by: VUSschneider on September 02, 2017, 08:35
Hi,
is there a way to export the enitre / selected metadata?
I want to see a sample CSV to edit a new on.

My next big thing is to update several descriptions. The easiest way would be to
-export as CSV
-Edit with excel
-import new CSV
-Upload the new edited metadata to stock site

Is something like this possible?

Yes.
You can export a CSV file using "File -> Export CSV" menu command and select the "SS Importable" format so you can import it later on.

Thanks that`s great.
And how does StockSubmitter update the metadata? Is it checking the changes offline and updating them online?

It will update the metadata of the local files.
If you need to update the already submitted files you need to remove them from the agency and re-upload them.

Hi again!
There`s only a "import CSV" but no "export CSV" command in file menu :)
Is it another name?

Ok thanks.
The reason we didn`t find it is a translation error in german language. Some phrases seems to be strange in german.
If you need help or suggestions with german language we can help you if you want.
