Title: Electron Pop-up
Post by: Hollygraphic on September 03, 2017, 16:07
Hello,

when I'm running Stocksubmitter, there is a some Pop-Up Browser app Electron. It occurs approximately every 10 minutes with Fotolia Login page. It's some kind of advertisement, virus or what? How can I get rid of it?

Thank you.

It happens when there is a captcha or similar on the agency website and normally shows the log in page for Fotolia (or Pond5 in my case) and if you directly log in via that pop-up, you are often shown one of those captcha tests that you need to pass manually. So it is a necessary part of getting past the traps that the agencies deploy to stop spam registrations
