I started at mostphotos for about 2 month ago, what i wounder is if they do any marketing at all besides of the ads at "arbetsformedlingen" in sweden. Where they ask photographers to join and get a arena for freelance jobs.

Does mostphoto market it self in any other way?

Best way is to send them an email.  I tried, but no answer.

So maybe it´s not the best way:)

From what I've heard ... they've marketed extensively in Scandanavia which is their current base but they are expanding globally as they announced just a few months ago.

At the rate of their intake of photos ... I would be very curious as to how many photos they now have online and where they would rank in comparison to other "midstock" type sites.

I'm a little pissed off to read this Arian "To be honest with you we haven't spent a single cent on marketing towards buyers yet." I know you continue to say.. "We have a lot of plans, original plans that never been done by any other agency before".. but to never have spent money on marketing could be why I have never had a sale. Hope the plans come into fruition asap.

I sold a few there but nothing now for over a year.  If they don't do something soon, I will have to leave.  Such a shame, as they did have potential but I really don't see them surviving without buyers.  How do sites with so few sales keep going?

I will also leave MP in the near future. I'm with them for over a year now and they didn't sell me a single image!

Right, and I've seen a lot of very bad pictures there. Imagine something much worse than the weakest free files you cand find on Fotolia and Dreamstime free section. But on the other hand they have good photos also.

Yes, no review to speak of and with that you get results like this...  Angry Or do buyers want to wear boots to wade through images? Search was "old bicycle" by the way.
