Zsolt - another suggestion.  I tend to go with the suggested pricing for files, so perhaps it would be a good idea to also have that option in choosing default pricing - have the price reflect whatever the suggested price is.  We can change it if we wish, of course, but if we want to go with whatever the suggested price is, as I'm prone to do, we don't have to type anything.   :)

Hi csproductions, this is a great idea, we will definitely add it, thank you, Zsolt

- It should save login.
- Not accepted images should be deleted automatically.
- Too soon for Referral Program?

Hi.  I just signed up there yesterday and was wondering about a small fix if at all possible.  Could the area that holds the keywords be made bigger like the description area.  Actually, could the coding be swapped to where the keyword area looks like the description area and vice versa.  Oh and is there a character limit on keywords or a keyword limit.  I couldn't find any information about that.

Thanks.

Anita

Hi CoisaX,

Currently we keep the not accepted images for 30 days by default for reference in the future though it will be based on users' preference.

Hi Anita,

Thank you for registering and uploading awesome stocks.

As far as keywords are concerned there is no limit the only rule is the all of them need to be related to the subject. Yes, we need to work on re-sizing the keyword field, this is a known issue, we will fix it.

Thank you,

Zsolt

FTP service is now available! Thank you luissantos84 for being supportive and testing the beta version.

Please contact us: [email protected] if you request an FTP slot.

Note: the only prerequisite is to have 10 successful submissions. Also, the number of available concurrent FTP slots is limited.

Thank you,

Zsolt

hopefully ftp or reliable multiple files uploading systems will be ready..

most of the contributors are doing full time or having a big porfolio, why not have a ftp so the size can grow faster?

Thanks Zsolt for keeping us up to date and to listening.

Just one more quick question about something I noticed.  IE9 doesn't seem to be compatible with the site but Firefox is.  Will there be any fix to the IE issues or will the site only be compatible with Firefox?

Thanks.

Anita

Hi Anita,

This is resolved. Both the keyword and description fields are now adjustable. You can re-size it as you like by grabbing the bottom-right corner of the field and move it.

Thank you,

Zsolt

Ah see!  I uploaded earlier and didn't see this post.  I'll definitely check it out here in a few.

Thank you!

There is no need anymore to upload the same MR multiple times. Previous MRs can now be selected from a drop-down in upload step #2.

A comment (and perhaps a request for views from the forum)

I'm getting a ton of images rejected for "no property release for recognizable property." This is happening on generic shots of the old buildings in Warsaw, and most recently on this one:

http://allyoucanstock.com/index.jsp?page=stock&spage=detail&stockid=12988

I don't know which country's laws the site is trying to apply, but property releases of such generic images are never required, in my experience. If you read Dan Heller (and this is a great resource: http://www.danheller.com/model-release-copyrights.html), property releases are almost never required as property does not have the same rights as people...

For what it's worth...

Uploaded about 25 of my better selling images yesterday just to check it out. Had money (from one sale) in my PayPal account this morning.

Registered on 11/12/2011. 3 Sales ( 18$ ) with 300 files... better than some "low earners" where I can't get any sale with +500 files...

Hey, Zsolt! Thanks for introducing your site!
Would it be possible NOT to receive an email when image is accepted?
I hate to receive lots of emails. I check my portfolios on stock sites quite often, so there's actually no need for a reminder when image is accepted. Some users might like it, but I guess not those who submit to several sites.
Would it be possible to add an option to switch off acceptance emails?
Thanks!

I actually like this concept for a site a lot.  I'm uploading my port as we speak :)  (no response yet regarding ftp slot though :( ... my username is mtilghma)

I think it's brilliant because all the contributors tend to whine when sites decrease overall photo prices, but my bet is that when faced with the cut-throat competition, they'd do the same if given the chance.  You've given them the chance.  You benefit from all the price slashing, with none of the hatred and animosity directed towards you.  Brilliant!  (I don't mean to be mean, as I said, I really like this concept)

and just to note, I uploaded about 30 photos yesterday, and already got a sale overnight.  I don't think this is necessarily an indication of sales trickling in each and every day, yet, rather I think someone just snatched one up when it was in the 'most recent' stack... but still, not a bad sign, that's for sure!

I'm interested in giving this site a go but don't fully understand the Membership Agreement.

I've got that my images will be Royalty Free and non-exclusive, which is what I want because I submit to several sites but, despite reading it several times, I'm really not clear what the 'Call for Offers' bit actually means.  ???

Can someone please explain this to me?  :)

Clients can post an specific content "request" for a period of time. Contributors can apply own photos for a cal ( more than one image ). On the end, client buy it ( don't know if obliged to buy at least one of the images "suggested" )

Oh, that kinda makes sense....

..but they would still be buying the image with a Royalty Free non-exclusive licence?

Thanks for clarifying :)

Yes. Moreover AYCS only sells as RF non-exclusive.

Is there a way to upload EPS files? I can't find a way but I see images described 'vector art' and the keyword 'vector' returns 3693 items. Maybe I'm missing something but on the upload screen it states 'we only accept .JPG files'

Just sent them an e-mail about that. Here is the answer.
"Yes, we do accept vectors, please take Illustration in step #1 and Attach your vector in step #2."
