I know Clustershot was sold off in January or February...

But does anyone know if Clustershot is allowing file uploads again?

Just wondering.

Just look at the message on the front page.  The new owners were meant to be taking 45 days to asses the site, then they were going to communicate what they are going to do.  The 45 days was up about 3 weeks ago and nothing has happened.  I wont waste my time until they let us know their plans.

Can anyone actually access the site? The site seems to have been down for a couple of months or so. If I've missed another thread, just point me to it. Cheers.

I can access the site but nothings happened since February.  Looks like a total waste of time.  Very strange why people would buy a site and let it rot.  I don't think I would have any confidence in them now.

Can't see it from where I am on any browser, it's been like that for a while. Just checked out their fb page. The last 3 comments are people complaining. "Some kind of communication would be greatly appreciated." I thought people were supposed to do runners once they got money, the guys who bought cs seem to have done a runner after giving money away.

Perhaps they purchased the site without having enough time to research the market?  Then they might of realized it isn't a great investment.  Like people that buy an old house to renovate at auction and then decide it isn't worth it.

Why don't they just close down the site if that would be the case?

Good question. I just had a look at their whois info. and the domain expires Jul 2012, lasted updated Jun 2011. So maybe they do intend to continue, but their complete silence is strange to say the least.

At 10$ to renew a domain name for 1 year I am not sure it is a clear indicator that they would want to continue.

Yeah true. I had an offer there a couple of weeks ago. Someone offered $20 for a photo. It's not on any microstock sites and it was priced at $90. I replied with offering it for $45, but didn't hear back. Oh well.
