Bring out your dead. Bring out your dead.  (As they used to say in London during the plague)

A few more victims to come yet.

Yes, to my surprise I'm close to payout limit, over 80$. I didn't upload there the last couple of years since I forgot them.

Anyone can run a microstock site, the problem is finding the buyers and locking them in.

Do you mean 80$ in sales without the 75$ upload bonus? That would be quite remarkable.

I forgot about the upload bonus. Actually it's around 90$, upload bonus included. Sorry for the confusion.

Always the same story. But this time it was not because there were no buyers. The problem was elsewhere as Andy said. Well, it's not easy for them as it's not easy for some photographers to leave the project.

BINGO! With new sites coming and going, buyers will soon, or should have by now, become frustrated. They join a site that has basically all the same images, buy credits, and then the site closes. You can use your credits or lose them. This isn't this first in a long line of efforts to jump into the market. Problem is the new sites just can't gain the market share needed to survive. Buyers are tired of openings and closings and unstable new agencies. Like the gold rush, the first ones may have made something, but the followers are chasing a lost cause.

I still can't understand why any artist bothers with any of the new sites after years of watching them come and go, without ever producing sustainable income or anything worth the effort to upload. Keep in mind that every new site someone supports, will take away income from the established sites and dilutes the customer base at your sites that do earn from on a regular basis. In other words, supporting a new site, is in effect cutting ones own sales, and driving down prices, by spreading out customers to weak short term operations.

Closing link for anyone interested in reading that you can convert your "earnings" into credits if you want to use them before April 15th.

The problem is that YOU bought FM obviously (I did some research) and you are trying to get away with their moral obligation to payout. If they don't pay what they own us (in my case close to 100$) you are an accomplice. Might this be a lesson to all fools that trusted and uploaded to Pixmac. I never did, as I didn't trust you in the first place (as you know). Once again, I'm proven right.

Bluntly stated, I want payout, not credits or crap. Quite difficult right now since I suddenly can't log in at FM. Perhaps it's a glitch. If not, expect me to raise hell (I'm good at that).  Tongue

Hey guys,

We have sorta botched that transition due to the abruptness of the events.

iSyndica has offered to take over the "debt" in unpaid commissions as well as transferring content - more details here:
http://www.microstockgroup.com/general-stock-discussion/did-fotomind-com-sell-our-email-addresses/msg143049/#msg143049

Your balance will be transferred into your iSyndica affiliate/referral balance where you can get it as cash (similarly, subject to payout limitations, but you can get up to $24 in commission for referring users to us, so those payouts are quite easier to reach and we've done a few already).

Cheers,

SC - iSyndica
