Same here, 4 sales, 12000 totally. Does anyone know can I withdraw to paypal not entire amount but only a part? I don't remember, but it seems there can be requested only entirely. I'm afraid Paypal can block.

My "mega sales" are all from November 28, so I can't withdraw anything yet. Anyway, even if I could, I wouldn't do it.

Some of mine are licensed as "Products for Resale". I expect larger amounts than usual, but not this level.

I got answer, this is some kind of error 500px payout system. Cents are changed for dollars or something like that.

I wouldn't lose hope on this one, dodgy companies do dodgy things and it may well be that someone has found their image on products and challenged it. Once caught out backpayments are due. I'm not saying 500px are dodgy, but I wouldn't trust them, it could be one of their partners. I would do a search to see if your images are being sold on products.

Have the people who've been seeing these huge sales actually been able to withdraw the money? I'd be worried about it being clawed back under the "yes, of course it's too good to be true" rule.

well 4000 dollar means a sale of at least 14000 dollar in total. a company that buy an image for 14000, will not look in 500px o find this kind of image. 500px can sale this at 15000 but it means the image will be sold for long time of exclusivity.
in this case is strange there is no communication from 500px to the photographer if she or he accept that the image couldn't be sold anymore for long time, and strange the image has not already withdrawn from market place.
in my opinion is a big error.

15000 in rm world is a big big license...for some worldwide exclusive campaign for some years. doubt company buy this kind of image, knowing they are already sold in rf style. if they have that kind off budget they won't look at micro stock or 500px.

The gist of the story:

So a huge screwup with the decimal point. That is just awful. Sorry to everyone who had their Christmas ruined by this major snafu. 😞
