Saw the ad on the right side. Good prices. 80% commission. But my trust is under 50%  ;)
What do you think?

My confidence (trust is a different issue) is at <50% with 80% commissions. That is to me an immediate red flag. I wonder how new they are?

I checked there page about contributors. Just a few. Also i see there is not even a hover image preview.
I can`t even see prices listed for credits (maybe its pay by use/  download).

They charge storage fees! Not for all users - there's a rating system based on points where $1 sold = 1 point. They also say they're waiving the storage fee if you register prior to Dec 2015.

There's also some notion about the buyer having three months to complain about the image and "We will deduct your points if the customer complain your image(s)..."

The prices appear to vary by image and as a newbie you only get to cash out every 6 months (until you've made $1,000 in sales).

I think the prices are too high for what looks like pretty standard stock - although there appear to be Chinese contributors at the moment, so possibly it's something that they consider a niche, and thus the higher prices might fly. You get to choose the prices when you upload but they say they can change that.

I was also surprised to see the following "5.7.1 SIM agrees to use its reasonable endeavours to grant licences as you have requested. However if SIM sells an Image outside the terms specified by you it shall not be liable for any loss." So that means they can negotiate any license they like at any price they like and contributors have to just suck it up? Really?

There's a 30 day delay in deleting images and a 60 day notice for terminating the contract.

I don't know that my images would be of any interest to them, but I wouldn't consider signing up given their terms and conditions. I wouldn't even get to the notion of whether they could actually sell anythinng...

Hi  friends,

Thank you for your focus on Superimagemarket. This is Jojo Wang from SIM.

First, let me dismiss the doubts for you.

About the storage fees. At least now we dont charge it, you can upload your images and waiting for the sales, if the sales begin to sizzle then you can go on, if not, just remove the images and stop to using it any more, actually, there is no loss for you but a chance for both you and us.

About the points and rating, we set this standard for encouraging you to manage your own SIM webesite, SIM is a platform that photographers can register and do their own E-business here.
About the price, SIM has six different price system and you can choose any one of them while you uploading you images, the lowest price is A1 as the picture below:

I think the A1 price is suitable for most of microstock phothgraphers. As we say, although you can choose the price we can change that, what we want to change is set a price at 0 USD to helping you promote some kind of your images if you want.

About 5.7.1, definitely we wont do the things you worried about, all we want is to protect the customers rights as well as the photographers.

More information about SIM.
①   Synchronize words. We can synchronize one  of your image keywords to the series of images when you keywording online.
②   SIM will always stand on the side of the photographers, not the antithesis. We helping photographers to get most of the royalties instead of get most of the commission fees.

Now I believe we just need more little trust, we are not the traditional stock company but an internet company, what we want to do is connect the photographer and the customer directly.

So, join us, join the change.
