Microstock Infos: Shotshop - Berlin Based Royalty-Free Stock Agency Goes International http://bit.ly/bKIiUJ

Shotshop.com presents its stock photography collection in a brand new design and introduces a powerful, cutting-edge similarity search.

BERLIN, GERMANY, April 09, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Royalty-free stock agency Shotshop.com is the new player on the international stock photography market. The young, independent Berlin-based agency is now available to customers from all over the world with their new website relaunched in mid-March.

Shotshop.com quickly developed from an insider's tip to a well established part of the German-speaking market. With their high quality standards and fresh concepts, Shotshop is already a favourite agency for many advertisement agencies, publishers and companies when it comes to image research. "We are glad to offer Shotshop's services to customers worldwide now!", says Stephan Krmer, Creative Director of Shotshop GmbH.

"Customers want to find images, not search for them", Stephan Krmer is sure of. "Customers are tired of bad search results and masses of images. Long and complicated search procedures are of course a money and time issue." Easy operating functions and the aim to design the whole procedure of buying stock images as convenient as possible have always been part of Shotshop's business strategy. A unique search algorithm guarantees exact search results. Combined with editorial image recommendations, advanced search options, drag and drop functions and a similarity search, Shotshop offers a maximum of convenience during image research.

"Our new website uses one of the most powerful, cutting-edge similarity searches on the market, vSearch by pixolution," Stephan Krmer is proud to announce. "Our customers are now able to search intuitively for similar images and directly for certain colour schemes."

Besides their high technical standards, Shotshop has always focused on a high quality. Since their foundation, the agency wanted quality instead of quantity, unlike competitors in their price segment. Only images that meet the high Shotshop standards go into their stock. "Our editorial effort may be higher than in other agencies, but we are certain that it is worth it," explains Stephan Krmer. Shotshop's Money-Back Guarantee is the best assurance of the image quality they offer.

When it comes to pricing, the makers of Shotshop also wanted transparancy and convenience. The Standard Licence for an image with maximum resolution is available from 40 Dollar. There is also an extralarge XXL-Web Licence for only 15 Dollar. Licenced images may be used unlimited and as long as costumers like. A Bonus Programme allows frequent customers to collect points and get discounts up to 20% with the Silver- or GoldCards.

The "WANTED Collection" surprises with unusual and stylish images, proofing Shotshop's individually maintained image archive and agency style. "WANTED is an editor's choice where our editors pick their favourite images. Always original, subjective and off mainstream." promises Stephan Krmer. "Perfect for all who look for the extraordinary."

I just started reading the photographer pages with google translate:

National sales
Shotshop tiered fee offers shares of 35% to 75% of the achieved sales (excluding VAT). The amount of the fee percentage depends to depend on what degree of exclusivity of their images have in stock market - this is a bonus of up to 20% and the other by their number of downloads achieved so far. Also this is again a bonus of up to 20%.

Kat1: Subscriptions Photographer
Besides Shotshop are your images in other agencies in Abomodellen (Subscription) sold for a few cents.
Honor share: 35-55%

Cat2: Micro Photographer
Besides Shotshop pictures of you are also available in other agencies to microstock prices-though not in the Abomodell.
Honor share: 40-60%
-------

I wonder how many micro sellers there are that don't sell at ANY site with subscriptions and are non-exclusive.

I will probably wait for them to do an English version of the contributors site.  It can't be that hard for them to do can it?
