Title: Blog post: How to Use Google Trends to Identify Profitable Stock Photo Trends
Post by: Brasilnut on November 30, 2018, 07:12
I've just published a guest-post on using the Google Trends tool to identify potentially trending and soon-to-be trending concepts to create content. Link to blog post here:

Teaser: Any technically-excellent content related to "No deal brexit" is sure to a winner imo!

Nice post, but it's a good idea to compare what's trending with what's on the market already (as Sammy mentioned).

On a side note, I do find the monkey relevant in a way, just look at Boris Johnson.

Correction "No Deal Brexit" has around 300 images so not a bad idea for a concept afterall :D

Good comments above - thanks.

The monkey is, I suppose, is in some way related to Brexit since they're prominent in Gibraltar, which is part of the UK.

On an earlier draft I discussed "migrant caravan" and "recreational marijuana" as further potential trending keywords for the present and into the near-future.

I think its better to make and be the new trend then to just follow it.  :)
You just have to use your creative skills, do the research and most importantly not be boring. So many people get into a rut.

That was a long blog all kinds of ideas, but I don't understand, where do you find the latest trending keywords on Google? Do you make them up or does Google show trending words? The reason AS has such a flat line is no editorial no news less trending keywords.

Yes, that's a good source...but mainly it has to do with what I'm regularly seeing featured in international news bulletins.

So when this kind of things come up, and you happen to have a photo of people hugging in the office. Would you go back to change your keywords to 'forced hugging'? Just an idea but not sure if that's worth it.

Re-keywording would work if it's related to anything sexual + unwelcoming (or it's spammy), otherwise better to create new content.
