Hi Stock Folks,

I've been told to stay clear of submitting flowers photos  to the stock companies unless they are 'Perfect' and 'Breathe Taking'. Yet, flowers is the number one search item on the stock list. What does it take to have a flower pic accepted?

Thanks.

Tom

time to time when a flower shows in my viewfinder I try to shoot it as best as possible then I submit it, when it is very good it goes in but mainly it isn´t that hard to have a flower approved, the problem is getting sales when there are tons of great pictures.. but again if we think that we will never sell we won´t pick the camera and try our best once stock have already tons and tons of great pictrues Tongue

A good, well lit and focused flower image isn't hard to get accepted. Selling them is another story. I have about 400 in my port, but only about a dozen that sell well and only one that I consider a top seller. There are few people on the planet that don't have almost daily access to flowers.

But like they said, give it a go.
