My name is shawn, im a computer tech and ive always was interested in photography..  Being a tech , ive had access to all adobe products and have used them to edit my photos but im not an expert by no means...  I enjoy taking pictures ,, I just got a new camera its a canon 60d /18-200 mm lens kit...  Im fairly impressed with it.. I couldnt afford anything more than that so im making due... I download any thing i can find on taking photos ,, and i have alot.....   Im interested in microstock and how it all works... But right at the moment im just trying to get comfortable with my new camera and experimenting with it......

When you think you've become comfortable with your camera and have covered the basics of getting shots well composed, well exposed and in focus, take a look at the stock sites and see if you think you can produce images of the sort people buy for stock. If you do, then you can start on the learning curve and see how you do. Your new camera is perfectly adequate to get you started in stock, if you decide to do that.

And there's plenty to read here about the business end of it (less about the nuts and bolts of photography) - welcome
