Friends, I took a picture of a miniature Beetle (volkswagen) with a very personalized environment. I removed via photoshop all the marks contained in the image, however the shutterstock and nor fotolia accept it. They accuse intellectual property.

I did a search and there are hundreds of Beetles miniatures on both fotolia and Shutterstock, why is the Beetle mee rejected?

I'm even attaching the image I made for you to see.

Thank you!!

It needs to be Editorial which Fotolia don't do - the shape of the car is protected. No doubt someone will define the ins and outs of legality by you wont get it accepted as RF

Thank you very much for the information, I will try to upload as an editorial. Does it imply anything?

For example, does the sale occur normally as if it were RF? Or is the value more expensive for those who are buying?

There's no difference between editorial and commercial pricing, AFAIK.

be aware that even though these stock agencies may refuse it, it is perfectly legal for you to sell your photo as stock photography.

when a submission is rejected, you can email them and ask why. they will almost always tell you why it was rejected, even though they will complain about it.

it is nice work. I saw similar work where someone took photos of miniatures, outdoors, with real trees in the distant background so the trees made the miniatures look full size.

The other photos with the same subject are editorial?
That are accepted on the website
