Hi
I am new to this MICROSTOCK thing and want to know if it is OK to use public domain maps of countries and states to use as guides for vector illustrations.
I am not doing detailed maps but just want to make the shapes of states and want to know the best way to do that without infringing on copyright law.

thanks

IStock you have to provide a very specific set of details.
Can't remember where the rules are stated.
I think it was date of creation, source (with link), and level of detail? (level of detail being like "land masses" "rivers" or similar)
