Leaf, my link leads to an empty port, and I can't find the box where not to put "#". Or is this a different problem?
I'll save Leaf the trouble of answering but it's a small thing that you did wrong. You entered your user name instead of your user number.
Mmh. Daft question: Where do I see my user number? The url only contains my user name.
No problem. Log into Shutterstock and click on "Your Account" under tools and resources. (the right hand column) It will say Username and below that your ID (account number) that you are looking for, and under that the Site Copyright Display Name : which is useful if you want something other than your name. I changed mine but funny thing, when I search for that it returns to the SS ID page and shows my real name, so why do I bother?
Same thing for IS and BigStock. So I created this pseudo company so I wouldn't be associated with my micro accounts and it's no secret at all. I might as well just use my name and give up.
Anyway... look at your user ID on SS and use that number without the # sign. That should do it.
Alternate plan "B" is click on "Referral Program" and you'll see your ID number after the link.
