why can't I start a new thread?

Hello and thank you for explaining what I must do to start a new thread.

I also want to say I have found this website / forum very helpful over the last few days, as I have been lurking and reading. I have learned a lot about the new venture I am about to start, as I am totally new to stock photography.

Yeah, well put Perseus - we WERE all newbies once.  I should dig up that thread that had quotes from the big microstockers when they were just beginning.  I only remember one of the quotes which was from Yuri asking how to keyword images

at least i knew how to embed keywords in PS when i submitted my first submission

Thanks Leaf.....I didn't even know you could keyword in photoshop. I always used Capture to do multiple keywording. Nice to know I don't have to mess with that anymore....I know I sound stupid, please forgive me

press ctrl+alt+shift+I to get to the keyword area.

Also:  when you do start a new thread, please give the thread a descriptive subject.  If you are going to ask a question, put the question in the subject.  A thread that is titled 'a question for you' or 'I am having problems' is not helpful and will probably not get a very good response.  Instead try 'I am having problems with my ftp program Filezilla' or 'What is the best FTP software?'
