the description says right there that the contrails are from jets and not the eagle.  the photographer just claims that she happened to snap the shot of the eagle as it was just in the exact spot to make it look as if the contrails were coming from it, but to the trained eye the angles are obviously all wrong.  so it could be real in that she got it just at that point where the contrails appear to be coming from the eagle.
I don't think the the eye has to be all that trained to see that the trails aren't coming from the eagle. We get that that was never claimed to be the case.
The point is that it is still a fake. For one thing air traffic control would have something to say about two commercial airliners big enough to make trails that size flying exactly parallel only a few dozen feet apart  Wink

I felt like the contrails were photoshopped too. Like you say, since when do commercial jets fly that close together - unless they are military jets?

It's just a plane with four engines that's all. something like this:

P.S. In case you guys haven't been sarcastic...

^ROFL.

So I a little photoshopping of my own with click_click's image. If it is that size jet that makes those kind of contrails, there is no way the eagle's feet could have hidden the plane.

Right, but if it was two smaller planes, it could almost have been believable.

I assumed it was supposed to be two smaller planes, because a big one wouldn't have been hidden by the feet. But maybe it was a big one that flew up its a*se?

Shocking what people are willing to believe!  This obvious fake is taken on faith to be real, while OTOH there is a growing number of people who think the moon landing was faked.  I will never understand human nature!   Roll Eyes

When Elvis was over last night with his date, Marilyn, we were discussing how gullible some people are...  Wink

What I find disconcerting is, some people won't believe the truth and mistrust almost everything, then turn around and believe silly UFO, bigfoot or Loch Ness monster stories, as if they are confirmed facts. I just don't get it.

Now I see the photoshop was a Gull and someone put the eagle in it's place. Many of us know of Jonathan Livingston Seagull and his book. It was a true biography, wasn't it?

"believe silly ufo"

I tend to think we're not the only life forms on one planet in this vast universe. religion aside, if there are millions of years since time began, we as a race barely scratch the surface when it comes to being in existence. Just imagine if there might be intelligence somewhere else that had a head start of lets say 500 million years. What part of the evolutionary ladder would they be at right now? Considering the vast amount of change within our last hundred years, its kind of scary to think what will be possible in the next 100 years for us.

Edited to say that i believe that there are a lot of bogus and silly ufo sightings that are clearly fake...

No, just extinct. Intelligence probably isn't a very good long-term survival trait.

Well, fortunately I think we are evolving to be less intelligent so we could have that problem licked before too long  Wink

Priceless  Grin

But let's assume they ARE way ahead of us in terms of world peace, no hunger, energy problems solved etc.

Why would they even wanna be in touch with us?

Are we assuming intelligent life will behave/evolve the same way as us?

What if they aren't nice and friendly and they come to eat us. What if we are the most intelligent life form and we go to visit others. Are we then the benevolent imaginary ET. Natural selection says they will be similar in appearance for practicle reasons, not four eyes, six appandeges, big soft head and all the SciFi imaginary art. When Sagan or Hawking hypothisize life that may be any life, an amoeba or fungus or bacteria life, not intelligent life. We haven't found proof of any life which makes it a long way to complex life forms.

The gullible believe the eagle is realwhen it's an obvious fake, people want to believe ET exists without any evidence. UFOs are not ETs, they are lights or flying things but no evidence makes them anything but a mystery. No proof of anything solid ever. That makes UFOs and ETs more of a religion based on faith then science which is based on proof and evidence.
