Topic: Paypal - different currencies

In my PP account, I have fund in three currencies.  My default currency is USD.  If I buy something over my funds in USD, does PP get money from the other currencies, or from my CC?

How can I convert my pounds/euros funds to USD?  I think there was a choice for that somewhere....

hi,  I have $A, $US, euro and GBP. If I buy something in $au it will empty the $au first (set as primary currency in paypal) and then if there is not enough it will grab the shortfall from us or euro (depending on which has money it) and then move to my credit card if needed. When I buy in us dollars it takes it from us dollars first, then $au for shortfall etc.

 there is a currency convertor link on 'my accoutn' page and it will let you exchange between currencies

That's what I can not see!  Sad

Under My account, I have these tabs:
    * Overview
    * Add Funds
    * Withdraw
    * History
          o Basic Search
          o Download History
    * Resolution Center
          o View Open Cases
    * Profile
          o Add or Edit Email
          o Add or Edit Bank Account
          o Add or Edit Credit Card
          o Add or Edit Street Address
          o Add or Edit Phone Number

I have a Zazzle order with "pending" - it's in BR money, which is none of the currencies I have funds in.  I click on "details" but I see no place where to choose anything about the currency balance.  I have more than enough balance overall to pay the order.

One their explanation for "pending", they say:
    * Adding funds from your bank account: You requested a bank transfer. The money should be in your PayPal account soon.
    * Money requests: The money request has not yet been paid. You can pay, edit, send a reminder, or cancel the request.
    * Withdrawals to your bank account: You requested a transfer from PayPal to your bank account.
None of which apply to me buying something using my PP balance.

I'm very confused, because although I have a CC in my profile, set as primary, when I go to "add funds" the only choice given is "Transfer Funds From a Bank Account in the United States".  So I can no longer pay PP balance with my CC?

^^^ Same here. I just click on the highlighted 'Currency Converter' and it takes me to the appropriate screen.

I don't have "more options" nor "currency converter" (I remember seeing the converter in the past).  I have "manage currency" instead (see pp1.jpg), and when I open it I can only add a new currency and change the primary currency (pp2.jpg).  There is also a close currency that only works if the amount in that currency is zero.

In the end, one transaction was deducted from the balance in euro and the other was charged to my credit card (pp3.jpg).  Curiously, the latter was from an order placed first, and there were enough euros to pay it.  I wonder if the second order was processed before the first one.

I guess I have to contact PP to know what's going on.  It's probably something related with being from Brazil.
