I noticed PantherMedia kicked it's way into the middle tier (congratulations).  I already have accounts at the top eight.  Kinda wondering... is Panther worth the trouble?  Is it a well run company?  Would love to hear feedback from current contributors.  Thanks

they have a really boring submission process, a lot of ticks etc.. regarding approval ratio they are quite good but they change daily what pictures they are looking for (or I guess it is just me).. I am on PM since 2009 and they have around 90 sales for 160$.. they pay in EUR.. they are my 6th.. have around 500 pictures there

I just deleted my port from there, but I only had like 100 photos there for a couple years and only 3 euros in sales.

I have less than 10 photos up there and I just looked and I have 10,65 Euros in my account a few subs and 1 sale.. I havn't checked though in over a year I don't think.. I hated the upload process so I stopped uploading.. But with so few photos up and a few sales, it seems maybe it's worth it..

does the middle tier rating of 2.5 mean that they earn on average between >$5 a month or is that >$10 I forget which one is rating #2 .  I always wish the rating system would simply change to actual dollar amount would just make more sense to now what the average earnings are rather than a number that represents some range of earnings.

Doesn't sound worth the effort for $5 a month

Hi everybody,

as already posted elsewhere today, our new contributor portal is online. Please see further info at:
http://www.panthermedia.net?contributor

Also, Tyler wrote in his blog about our new submission process within this portal:

You might also want to look at this article:

I cannot judge how much you might earn at PantherMedia, but according to the feedback of our international photographers, we are among the top 5 to 7 agencies in regards to Eur/month. It hugely depends on the quality and quantity of your images. However, with our new submission system, uploading is quite easy and fast and worth a try! If you have more than approx. 2.000 images to upload, please contact us directly.

Best regards,

Robert

I can never remember either. I think we need a little cheat sheet somewhere on the site. Anyway, congrats to Panther. Now, all they need is vectors. That's when you can get all the cool kids to come to your site.  Grin
