I'm contributor of PantherMedia for more than one year. I must admit that this site is so confusing that I have never tried to search my images. I did it today and saw their watermark for a very first time.  It is absolutely useless - especially for isolated objects. Was the watermark always the same? I'm not going to upload anymore if it is not changed.

That's the reason why I never uploaded there. Have been watching this for quite some time (years), still no change.
I share your opinion: this watermark is absolutely useless.

Ok, I also just noticed this.

To support from Panthermedia, please move and enlarge the watermark or I will have to consider removing my entire portfolio.

Thank you,
Wim

I just did a search by "Date". It appears that only relatively recent stuff have a new watermark, positioned in the top left hand corner. Older photos have a watermark in the centre with the word "Copyright".

I found the Panther site to be so confusing that I panicked and removed all my images.

This is indeed unacceptable. We will hold the uploads until the watermark is fixed.

I will remove all my illustrations as soon as I make the payout!

This watermark is awful.. Images are not protected at all..

How much is the payout there?
I noticed there are some images from 123RF. They may be a partner.

30 euros I think..

If they don't fix the watermark, I am out!

I did the same to, and received the same answer. You would think that the watermark is high on their priority list.

I did not only find this problem here. I have a similar problem at the vastly more popular 123RF:

Please comment on this thread as well if you agree. Hopefully can they also improve on their protection!

I'm starting to remove images where the watermark has no effect.

I have asked several times to move the watermark but there is no response here or via mail.
Rejection goes both ways.
