Today I checked my balance and to my surprise, my balance was $85 less than expected. Looking into my history it does not show any movement. Later, I contacted Payoneer by chat and phone asking why.

They didnt know the reason but they knew that the charge was made by them. Now I need to wait for an email with an explanation next week. Im very disappointed with Payoneer. Please check your balances and think twice before leaving money into your Payoneer account.

Heard something similar the other day... the person was on a business account and hadn't used it for a certain amount of months, so was charged a non-usage fee. Could be that?

A "non-usage fee"? Taking people's money because you haven't had to do anything for them? That's pretty dubious. However, for me Payoneer is the only available option.

They call it Inactivity fee ($3) and that's the reason I won't use Payoneer in the future.

"20.1 A monthly inactivity fee may be collected if no transactions and no payments have been allocated to Your Card in the last thirty (30) days. If the inactivity fee is assessed, the charge will be recurring each month, unless funds are added and as long as the balance on the Card is more than zero."

This is a direct loot, they are forcing customer to do transaction even if they don't want.

Yeah, if you've got the business account version then the $3 changes to $50/$100.

I only receive my payments there and withdraw the money to a bank account each month. Could that be inactive???

I hope that PayPal doesn't get any similar ideas.  ::)

Has been more than 2 working days and they still dont know the reason why they charge me $85 USD and now they don't even give time on when I am going to know the reason. I was a user of several years but the customer service is useless. Changing to PayPal at the moment, they are not the best but at least they give you an answer when they say they will.

Maybe you can always juggle your money back and forth every few months that is if your are allowed 2 accounts? That is if you suspect that be the reason why they are removing money they shouldn't.
Its worth a try.  :-\

They need to tell you what the charge is for or give you a refund.

Is it possible a agency clawed back the money?

When they do not have any valid reason for the charge, aren't they refunding it?

Im actually thinking switching to Payoneer from Paypal, because i get a Debit card from Payoneer, where on Paypal you can not withdraw to a Debit card here in EU and other European countries.

But the non activity fee is worrysome  :-[

Almost a month and I'm still waiting. No explanation, no money at the moment. The customer service answer is "a special department is reviewing it, they will let you know". Switching to Paypal
