Hi all,

I've got a small series of shots of one indigenous Creole girl in Nicaragua getting a hairdo. SS rejected all of them for poor composition and that's fine (she's a bit soft too, to be honest) but I still think the photos may present a certain value for location and ethnicity, so my question is: do you think it's better to submit those exclusively to Alamy as RM or just spread it between different agencies (I have it as editorial only)?

Many thanks!

Shame, she's a pretty girl, but they are too soft, especially the bottom one, and both have blown highlights.
I doubt if anyone would accept them, maybe not even iS. Sorry.
(If unreleased, iS wouldn't accept them as editorial because of the young age of the girl.)
I don't think Alamy would take them because of the softness.

Resubmit, they could be accepted after a second review
(From my point of view I would prefer the second cropped square in the way to concentrate the attention more on the model face)

Thank you for the input, all!
You're right IS wouldn't accept her unreleased anyway, I forgot about that.. I think I might try Alamy before I completely give up :)

I so agree with that! Crop out the window to make it a square, and it's much nicer.

Try the mobile stock agencies eyeem, twenty20 etc...and also istock, they take real life images.

Oh, no release, that will probably be difficult.

I find the background rather distracting. I would have separated her from the window and try to make the window-brick lines not run in diagonal

Thank you, I've actually followed the tips offered in here and cropped some window out having more focus on the girl's face, I have those photos now as RM on Alamy ;)

Interesting how this window seemed distracting to everyone but me :) i guess it's because it looked so natural in real life - inside of a very simple hut, a tiny window, girl sitting next to it ;D
