Hi,

I recently bought a second hand Nikon D3200, and did a quick test run. I have the auto image rotation on, and portrait pics look correct way up on my Mac and several sites (shutterstock, dreamstime), but on a few sites (Adobe Stock is one) and Xpiks-qt they're not rotated.

I guess it's some metadata setting - does anyone know how I can fix it? (preferably something I can apply to all the portrait orientation pics and not have to set specifically for some sites and not others)

Realised an answer shortly after posting that (often the way!).

Using imagemagick I do

Quote
mogrify -auto-orient *.JPG

and that does the trick!

Honestly, I am not sure you done enough research before starting stock photography. I suggest you edit your photos before upload, wich includes image rotation as well...
