Photoshop Tutorial - for Beginners and Intermediate Users

One of many methods you can use to clean up a hazy landscape image.
I chose this method to show you because it is fairly simple, and I believe
anyone with a minimum of photoshop experience will be able to follow along.

As always, if you have any questions I am available here.

Miz, some of these older tutorials seem to have a problem with scratchy vocals and in this case the vocals are out of synch with the screen image.

Sorry you are experiencing difficulties, however this tutorial has been viewed hundreds of times before without any mention of similar complaints. Perhaps as you suggested they are OLD. I played this on my laptop and it played as well as the day it was made.

Could it be your bandwidth that is perhaps the cause?

I have the same problem as hatman12: some squaky sounds and problems with synchronization (when you do before and after preview).

I also get the duck squacks. My cable connection is not very speedy (2Mbps), but it's not usual to have these problems in his tutorials.  I also tried to pause exhibition and then resume (downloads continue when we're paused), so there should be (I guess) no buffering problem to justify these noises.

Regards,
Adelaide

OK in spite of the fact that I dont experience such problems....this is to serve as a warning to
others about to embark on a path to the Twilight Zone.

All Beware!

Hi Miz
I tried to check your tutorials, but all I get is the Godaddy page. How can I access your site?
Thanks

Miz died last year, you've just dug up an old post of his.

Bizarre that this should come up.

I was just thinking about it yesterday and wondering how long it would take before someone brings up one of MIZ's old threads.  I got to thinking about it because looking on the microstockgroup stats page the Miz is still the 4th highest topic starter!

Maybe it would be a fitting thing to include an acknowledgment of his iconic status and sad departure in his profile. A true character who is fondly remembered by all, even I bet those who never agreed with anything he said !

redzaal,
there you go, try this:

Just check your image for artifacts after adjusting levels.

true Tyler, the ole bugger was a mean ole buzzard, but he helped a lot of newbies who PM'ed him.
Heck, you could sell a book on MIZ wisdom you know, from all his thread here.  And with this million dollars, you could start your own micro stock site.
