I don't like the POND5 search engine...

Hello everybody!
I was just fiddling around the other day on P5 with their search engine and while doing that I've encountered one small problem (at least for me).
It shouldn't be a surprise that peeps try to get the best value for their money. When thay have to choose between for example 1080P clip priced at 30$ and a very simillar 4K clip at 55$ for 4K and 27$ for 1080P they would probably take the downscaled 4K version. But that's difficult...
I just wanted to say that if someone sets a price limit on P5 for example for 49$ he/she will only get results that are native 1080P or smaller. The search engine won't show downscaled 4K clips available in that price range.
What do you think about all of this? Personally it drives me crazy  >:(

First of all... selling 4k for under $ 100 is absurd. Second... if they'll need 4k, they will find it.

That still doesn't change my main point that 1080P downscaled from 4K isn't properly exposed...

I reported it as a bug more than 3 years ago. Have followed up a few times since. Still hasn't been fixed, so I gave up any hope of it being fixed a long time ago. Along with a couple of other bugs that have been more than 3 years without a fix.

Because 4k is so incredibly hard to produce and almost no camera in the world can handle it? Ethernet cables and wifi routers collapse under the pressure?

You price based on CONTENT. Not resolution.

A 4k clip of a duck should be cheap.

A 720p clip of an erupting volcano can be very expensive.
