Has anyone else been able to access the Zazzle forum for the last few days?  I've been getting a blank page since Friday.

I logged on using another computer in another location, and was able to see the forum.  All my posts have been removed and I can't make new ones.  Apparently some negative comments I made on Friday caused someone to ban me from the forum - no notice, no explanation.  Odd that I still can't see the forum from my main computer, even if I delete all cookies - can't believe they'd actually block by IP, too, but who knows.

What jerks.  But as we all know, this sort of censorship is becoming common.  Forums are seen as tools to promote the image of the business, and they're not public so they can do whatever they want.

MSG is a microstock forum, not too much Zazzle interest here; does anyone know of an independent forum devoted to Zazzle and other POD sites?

Don't know of one....you must have said something pretty bad for them to ban you....lol
Maybe you need to talk to Leaf and see if he will help you make up a POD forum devoted to Zazzle and other such sites.

I'm actually not doing much of anything with Zazzle now so it's a wash I guess.  I think their prices - for things like t-shirts, coffee cups and bags - are too high.

Prices are too high indeed. Yet, they sell. Maybe it's all the sales discounts they give.

I also sold a case this week. I never thought it would exactly because it's SO expensive.  Grin

A Zazzle forum, you need to register: http://www.nolansoft.com/thezug/viewforum.php?f=32

It was recommended by a friend, I am waiting for my registration to be confirmed, so I cannot say how good it is.

I was already registered and participating in the forum.  I made some comments that were critical of a recent 'business decision' by Zazzle, and they immediately locked me out of the forum and deleted all my posts.

Oh, I get it now.  I thought you were implying I hadn't registered on the Zazzle forum.

I looked at that forum but it's not for me.  Registration requires giving them your Zazzle store id - and there goes your anonymity.

Congrats!  This was my 2nd time selling a case.  Also sold my first silver ornament yesterday.  Woot!

Is anyone still having issues with the official Zazzle forum? I got locked out of posting yesterday... Their support links are not working either and one of the categories (Create Products) seems to have been deleted entirely.
Actually, now that I look closer, there have been no new posts since December 22nd...

I'm still locked out - or else it's broken in some weird way.  I sent in a support ticket and got a useless canned response.   Zazzle seems to be on some sort of autopilot and it's losing altitude.  Zazzle never worked for me anyway and I've started over with RedBubble.

stockastic, how are you doing on redbubble? Are you getting any sales? I pretty much gave up on it as I wasn't getting anything except for feedback from fellow artists but I do get sales at zazzle

Looks like I'm the last person to post in the Basic Pro Sellers forum on December 23rd.

I'm just starting.  My real goal is to sell greeting cards and (maybe) small prints at art and craft sales, and I want a POD site where people can go later, to get more, or refer friends.  My wife already sells items at a few of these sales, so I have a foot in the door, and I think I have a lot of images that would sell, now and then.  I might also get into a coffee shop or tow.  So I'll promote my photos myself, and don't expect to get any sales through RedBubble.

The reason I'm not doing this at Zazzle is that I might have 100 or so images to offer as cards, and to create a card at Zazzle you have to enter keywords, description and title (all by hand of course, no IPTC).   That's way too much work, and I never got any sales of my other products through Zazzle anyway, it's just a giant haystack in which to bury your needles.  The only sales I got were by word of mouth.  So why bother with keyords, categories, etc?

Great stuff on the forums.  I go there to learn how to further customize my storefronts.

The forum is locked until after the weekend, there's a note in the 'news' section.

I think you get back what you put in at Zazzle - I gave up on stock (I could never get enough decent photos together), so I just do Zazzle, and a couple of others sometimes. It's well worth my while though. First time ever I made volume bonus level three this month.
