We are handling this 3rd wave differently than the previous 2. The selected files will remain in your paid portfolio for a short period of time yet to be determined. We are paying for the use in advance to simplify the process on our end when transferring images into the free collection. As always, we are closely watching the collection to determine what, if any impact there may be on the paid collection. By paying in advance, we can move the images at the appropriate time in a more seamless manner.

Its now been couple of weeks since I was notified that Id had 8 images slected for the Free Collection in this 3rd wave. The relevant amount ($40) was credited to my account but only 1 of these images has been identified so far as now being "Free".
The 1st and 2nd tranches only took a day or so before they were marked up as Free so it would be instructive to know how long the "short period of time yet to be determined" might extend to.
Can anyone ( Mat ? ) shed any light on this matter ? Thanks

Its been a week now since I was told how many of my images were being added to this latest round of selections for the Free Collection. Whilst the appropriate amount has been credited to my account  I am still not able to identify which of my images are involved.
I was wondering if this is generally the case and, if so, does anyone know when our portfolios will be updated with the info ? Thanks

I use todayis20 for this info,  but it only has stats from the start of ESP. For historic stats, I use DM2.

Don't suppose anyone knows of a way of getting at historic Partner Program sales ?

Also, if you still have Deep Meta 2 installed, it can import all your old data from Deep Meta 2 from all the years before iStock switched over to the new Getty system which was switched over on January 1st of this year. So now you can have both all of your old and new file data together in one app. It only provides sales statistics though from January of this year onward.
Really ? How do you do that ?
choose 'upload' and tick the 'Import DeepMeta2 Portfolio and Data' box.
(Upload is unintuitively what you have to click before you can 'synchronise' your data to bring in the most recent stats, even if you have no intention of uploading)
But V2 - unlike V3 - does not contain Subscription and Partner Program sales does it ? So any importing of data will be incomplete by definition - or am I missing something here ?

This doesn't work for me. The data I obtain fron both sources does not show any activity beyond 21st December  (possible, but unlikely !!)

You can't access it via the file's homepage, but you can still (as of this minute!) get the info via My Uploads, and clicking on the $value under the Royalties column, which is of limited use.
Allegedly this is pro tem until the unification features arrive.
Updates (if any) on their forum, never here.

Thanks ShadySue.   Wonder what the unification features will bring ..

Me neither - "Download History" appears to have disappeared as an option !

General Stock Discussion / Re: Number of Keywords on SS
« on: February 23, 2012, 11:49 »
Do you others agree on that? Some say you get punished in search results with 50 keywords...

Hogwash.  Where is the evidence of this?

I tend to agree that you are not punished.  When I do a relevancy search on SS I find the top matches tend to have close to 40-50 keywords so I fail to see any evidence that fewer keywords gets you better placement.  In the other sort orders (popular, new, random) it would seem more is better as well.  Not necessarily the case on other sites, though.

Interesting - I too have been trying to work out the basic criteria they employ for the Relevancy search option. It seems that on SS searches for 'Popular' and 'Relevant' come out pretty much the same ! Elsewhere (e.g. DT) the number of keywords is the defining factor and its difficult to think what else could be used to define 'relevancy'. Anyone got any theories ?
