Adobe Stock / Re: Adobe sales
« on: May 25, 2023, 18:52 »
My Adobe sales are better than Shutter. I still upload photos and illustrations at SS, but I no longer upload sets of icons (more than one icons in one file). I only upload them at Adobe.

A vector illustration of a red driverless sports car was refused by Adobe Stock because of an intellectual property violation.

They were not specific. There are only two reasons I can think.

1. Driverless technology is owned by a company, maybe Tesla.
2. Red color sports car is owned by sports car company, probably by Ferrari.

New Sites - General / ArtStation
« on: October 27, 2022, 20:48 »
Who here has an experience with www.artstation.com ?

I just recently signed up with them. Uploaded just one. Will probably add more in the coming weeks. I would probably use ArtStation as portfolio primarily, as most other site users are doing.

iStockPhoto.com / Re: Earnings for Mar'21
« on: April 22, 2021, 03:28 »
Earnings data is back. But I earned $55 for February, not sure if I will be happy or is this a bug. The last time I earned over 50$ in one month was probably 10 years ago.

5
Earned about 12$ my lowest since 2010.

Zazzle finally deleted all my MAGA designs this January. Even my election fraud humor. Oh well, it's their company, their rules.

General - Stock Video / Re: Who is doing 2D animations?

I use mostly Synfig in my animations, it's free, I also made a few with Photoshop. Photoshop is much easier to use.

Only two animations and you sold one. I guess you should upload more.

I guess the animation is the Merry Christmas text? What software did you use?

Who is into 2D animation? How many animation videos do you have? Are you earning regularly?

I just need inspiration if you guys are doing good with animation. I currently have 16 videos, and 8 of them are animations. I have had these videos since 2016. I halted my animation uploads, because I lack the motivation because it's still not earning a single cent.

I only tried it for fun, I did 2 of them, one of them sold once on Adobe. I am also curious about other people's experience. I guess it depends a lot on the topic / quality as with photos or illustrations.

Oops, Teespring is worse. They automatically deleted my Make America Great Again face mask. I searched and there is no MAGA merchandise.

Zazzle still allows MAGA designs.

I just signed up at https://teespring.com/ , I have not much information about this site, it looks like has better Alexa ranking than Zazzle, there could be more visitors than the latter, I'm not sure. Basing on Alexa has helped me. I have earned about 300$ with Zazzle.

I may consider focusing on Teespring if I get sales. Zazzle has been deleting some of my non-provocative conservative designs lately.

iStockPhoto.com / Re: istock Stats in Jan -- a bit lower
« on: March 11, 2020, 18:34 »
My income keeps getting lower, even though I alwasy upload 10 to 20 vectors and photos a month.

13
I get occasional earnings about 10 to 20$ a month when I used to use Symbiostock without much marketing, but when I shifted to CMSaccount, I only got one sign up and I used Google Ads and Facebook Ads to market.

« on: June 20, 2019, 19:07 »
My January to April 2019 is slightly higher compared to last year of the same period. And then May came. It dropped suddenly, I only earned about 25$, down 80% compared to May 2018.

15
I have vectors uploaded and still pending since June 2018. I guess, I have to stop uploading for now.

byman,

Have you sold anything yet?

I used CMSaccount stand-alone script lite version starting in January 2018. I still don't have a single sale yet. I have over 1,000 images and vectors. I spent a bit of Google Ads and Facebook ads, but still no sale.

When I used to use Symbiostock, I've had a few sales even with minimal marketing. I did not use Google ads nor Facebook ads.

Submit relevant content. I do not think they're penalizing you.

You have to request it.

I was able to download my images at iStock. I sent an email asking them to give me access, and they gave me several days (forgot the specific number of days).

I stopped uploading in 123rf, it is just slow earning. I would still stay, but would no longer upload anymore.

I started in 2012 with 123RF. Took 6 years to reach 50$. Finally got the payment this month.

I have over 700 images, mostly vectors.

There are sub categories in the Admin Panel, but on the site the sub categories does not appear. Probably, a theme issue? I haven't asked though.

Try asking CMS through email, the admin is quick to respond.
