I like it, but apparently it only works with photos. I will like to use it with illustrations but I get zero keywords with them

2
Almost a month and I'm still waiting. No explanation, no money at the moment. The customer service answer is "a special department is reviewing it, they will let you know". Switching to Paypal

4
They know that the charge was made by Payoneer, but they dont know why =/

5
Has been more than 2 working days and they still dont know the reason why they charge me $85 USD and now they don't even give time on when I am going to know the reason. I was a user of several years but the customer service is useless. Changing to PayPal at the moment, they are not the best but at least they give you an answer when they say they will.

6
I only receive my payments there and withdraw the money to a bank account each month. Could that be inactive???

Payoneer / Payoneer charged me 85 USD and they don't know why
« on: October 04, 2018, 15:04 »
Today I checked my balance and to my surprise, my balance was $85 less than expected. Looking into my history it does not show any movement. Later, I contacted Payoneer by chat and phone asking why.

They didnt know the reason but they knew that the charge was made by them. Now I need to wait for an email with an explanation next week. Im very disappointed with Payoneer. Please check your balances and think twice before leaving money into your Payoneer account.

Half the sales I usually have. I'm stunned.  :-\

Yes I have seen this. I hope it has something to do with my increase in sales. Exclusive here.

Where are the stock forums now?  I go to the Getty Images, BOARDS, and can't find any forums.  what is going on now?

You need to have an account for https://contributors.gettyimages.com/ and the forums, such as they are, are still there. There is virtually zero discussion - just some announcements and an occasional question.

Yes, I prefer to comment here instead of the official getty-istock forums, almost zero discussion.

Hey,

iStock has updated their login page and we need to update the app to go through the new page. The update has been sent to Apple for approval and should be available in about a week, after it goes through their approval process.

For news please follow us on Twitter https://twitter.com/Microstockr

What about microstockr pro? Cant login to istock. Thanks

Considering you don't have the right on the 3d models you risk someone will ask to block your account.
Interesting point. When you buy a 3D model, you get a license to use the model to create renders and to own the copyright of those renders. So, theoretically, you could buy a model at, say Turbosquid, and trace or sketch an image of it, without really rendering it with a 3D rendering engine. I don't see why this would be illegal, but you might have to read the user's license to see if such a practice would be prohibited, I guess.

At istock, it does not matter where you bought the model. If they find that you didn't made it, they can close your account.

Still having duplicated sales from istock.

Hey Luis! I'll have this fixed in the next extension update but until then we run a script every few days to address the duplicate sales. Please check your dashboard everything should be back to normal now.

I'm still seen duplicated sales from Wednesday

I really like your software, unfortunately some sales at istock get duplicated at stockhub. Please fix this bug.

I'm analysing the best match and 2 months ago the proportion of exclusive content in the first page of almost any keyword was:

80% exclusive
20% non-exclusive

Since last week, the proportion totally changed in almost any keyword as well, is very consistent:

60% exclusive
40% non-exclusive

The analysis was made using 100 random keywords using the first page showing 100 images.

Alamy - 1 in first day i joined lol
IS - only approved 50% of my stuff but got -4 sales up to now
Veer + CanStock + pond5 - 1 sale
Canva - joined just few days ago - 1 sale
Shutter, going very good 2-3 sales a day in avrage - best seller but 0.28 * X dose not get my far
RF123 - 10 sales

left bigstock photo and YAY

any ideas how to generate more income? tyred 3 art photos on FineArtAmerica tough i will give it a try

250 pictures in 4 months are too few my friend, if this is just a hobby is fine, but if you plan to earn more, you need to improve your numbers.

You are only uploading 2 images per day, in comparison  Im uploading 16 per day.

The only problem is motivation, is difficult to create images when you dont know how much money are you really making.

My method is translate what I want(equipment, trips, activities) into images. Example: if I want a macbook pro(early 2011) 13" I need 1823 images to buy one per month.

This as being great to my productivity and I recommend this method to everyone dealing with motivation issues.

Sorry for my bad english.

Am I the only one who sees a brighter future?. Yes probably we will get less sales every month but I see a time where technology and fresh ideas change this industry for the better.

Currently every site selling stock photography is pretty dumb and almost all of them share the same basic features. But what would happen when some clever programer start to offer smart features like search for concepts rather than keywords, past performance of the image in social media or something, most suitable market for that image, you name it, is all possible.

And yes, probably the price in some places will go free, but you will get a cut of the profit in the final product: Imagine that the buyer wants to create a small documentary about cancer, he looks for the appropriate images and video and creates his documentary and he publish it on youtube, every creator will get part of the profit. I am sure the technology is here, unfortunately the implementations that we have seen are bad, but I am sure someone somewhere is going to build the right tools with the right model, in the near future.

As a example, I am building a tool to recommend not only keywords with a good combination between demand and supply, but whole concepts and is very accurate, with examples and everything. It takes like 1 hours but it works!. I only dream of what can be made by professionals.
