Adobe debe limitar la subida masiva de IA.

this forum no longer makes sense

here 45 dollars more.

4
Even if it's not a very outstanding collection... who has kept the sales of a portfolio of millions of images?

5
I only ask Adobe that if it is going to change the commissions with the photos as it has done with the video or to modify the income of the subscriptions in the style of Shutter and istock, that must be notify NOW of any change so as not to have one-year commitments with them and delete the photos to upload them to other more profitable exclusive sites, what's more, any changes made during that year should be grounds for removing the free photos collection.

I ended with video with the shutter, Istock and now adobe scam. I make more money by saving my time and taking down my online and physical storage sites for tedious video

General - Top Sites / Re: My first month with Freepik !
« on: May 02, 2022, 13:21 »
I made the mistake of uploading some of my photographs to Freepik in 2018, around 130 files, and I have still not reached the 100 eur payment threshold. I expect to reach it maybe next year. Ridiculous.

Remember that when you close your account with them, the photos will remain in their agency for a year without you seeing a penny

To me it's a challenge. All the whining about 10 cent sales is a waste of time.
Complaining about rejections is a waste of time.
In short, complaining is a waste of time.
The challenge for me is to overcome.
Marines are taught to improvise, adapt, and overcome all obstacles.
I think that's a good attitude.
I don't care to read about the whines. All forums are full of them.
I want to read about success stories not bs
My income kept going up after the dime hair cut. Then I hit a plateau.
I stopped uploading because I hit a block.
Now I'm back to taking pictures and uploading. It's fun!
I enjoy the challenge.
Here's the thing for me, Stock Performer tells me I'm in the top 80% on downloads.
But I'm only in the top 30% on income and now I'm in the top 60% on uploads.
The problem is obvious. I need to create more images people want to pay for.
So that's what I'm working on now. Yes, upload, upload, upload. Dimes add up.
On Shutterstock I don't upload on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Like everyone else I'm
tired of the goofy judges that reject everything. So I don't bother with that.
On comparing agencies. Yes, Adobe, Dreamstime, 123RF and so on pay more for pictures but
in the final analysis Shutterstock pays more at the end of the month because they sell a hell of a lot more.
Wirestock started out good but now has gone off the rails.
Adobe pays me more for the thousand or so images I have with them.
Yeah, even Dreamstime gives me greater earnings than Wirestock.
Anyway, that's how it works for me. How other people work is their business..
I'm not on forums much anymore because it's a waste of time reading all the whining.
I do a lot of research and try to keep my eye on the ball.
What I don't know is what pictures bring in the big bucks. I've not discovered
that secret yet. So that's the challenge for me.
People are free to cut off their noses to spite their face but Shutterstock rules.
If you can get on with Stocksy because they pay well and work with photographers.
Good luck and upload, upload, upload.

Wow, at a 30% return on market you'll soon be able to pay stockperformer and have some money left over.

Currently, according to contributors who post their numbers, freepik pays 0.075 cents per download.
The monthly fee is 7.50 euros for the buyer if you contract for a whole year.
If they pay 50%, to make it round, let's say the unit price per download must be 0.15 to balance the accounts.
7.50 divided by 0.15 $ is 50 monthly downloads on average, which is what paying users must download to maintain these payments (66 downloads if they pay the monthly fee of 10 Dollars)
If the average number of downloads of the average registered user is higher, I am afraid that Freepik hides downloads or limits them in some way.
It is very easy to download more than 50/66 photos in a month.
Giving life to any agency that is a small supplement to the income of the 3 or 4 big ones favors that the competition is always lowering prices and commissions.
We are selfish and we get what we deserve.

Nevermber...  out jokes, my best month is march and may, a lot of family shots

instead of copying the bad decisions of other agencies, adobe should make some exclusive content program, the microstock begins to be very disgusting in the rest of the agencies

wow!!...More than 20 dollars!! Why i will pay 10 dollar in creative market for one of your vectors when i can download all your portfolio for this amount in freepik??

15
Thanks to your comment I have seen that now the general tone has changed and effectively, if nothing is done, the image goes to the free section. I can not allow that. I can't spend time on Dreamstime in any way or have to keep an eye on it. It is a waste of time.

No, forget it.

If Adobe created some kind of exclusive collection where they paid us 50% of the download price and better positioning, I wouldn't waste my time with more agencies for certain photos.

His photos under both Yuri Arcurs and People Images are still showing as exclusive on iStock:
https://www.istockphoto.com/photo/shot-of-an-attractive-young-woman-sitting-alone-on-a-mat-and-meditating-on-the-beach-gm1317735408-405075966

Maybe (again I have no idea) he's negotiated an exclusive-image deal with Getty?

The crown is not on his name, not on people images and not on Yuri Arcurs. In few time, his images disappear from Getty

20
This is the new normal.
Yesterday he sold 5 images, surely for 0,35...

And is the FEATURED CONTRIBUTOR, I don't think he wants to go unnoticed

21
when they collect the data with it they will create cgi images and they will not need more photographers

22
I had a similar problem that was resolved in three days. I worked with a German macro distributor and when I closed my account with them, due to a shutter or distributor error, the images were still online at shutterstock premier. They closed my account and I had to investigate the repeated photos (they did not send me thumbnails but thanks to stock performer I got what images were by ID) I sent a lot of emails with RAW, model contracts ... and I was very insistent. Finally my account was re-established.

I always charge shutter every month and despite not going up much I had 500 dollars that month by that date, finally my money appeared

23
Why don't you pay us a monthly salary? The commissions thing no longer makes sense. Give me a salary for every x photos and sell them however you want.

24
I am very unmotivated with Istock and Shutter. I can't imagine taking photos to sell them at 0.02 or 0.10 ... and on top of that with crazy rejections, different requirements, tedious loading and indexing processes ...

The problem with the covid photos is that the difficulty is greater, the cost is the same as models without a mask and when the pandemic ends, those photos will stop selling at once.

25
Im happy with stockperformer but is expensive. Maybe this year i quit.
