Dear Member,

You are one of our valued members who have referred other members to Mostphotos!

We are now updating some of the terms of our referral program. As you have been referring members, we wanted to inform you of the change.

Effective as of November 28th 2014 we are going to update the payout terms so that referral income will be accrued for the first 24 months after a referred member is registered on Mostphotos. The update will affect members you have referred in the past as well as those that you refer in the future.

You will continue to receive 10% of what your referred contributor earns per sold image and 5% of what your referred buyer pays for every image they buy.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Thank you!

General Stock Discussion / stolen images by bayoe.me
« on: March 08, 2012, 10:56 »
Looks like they http://bayoe.me/ use stolen images or grab the images with a search right of different sites.

Put your user name or real name in the search on the bottom right. It comes up with a mixture of stuff from your websites.

Microstock News / New Website: Stock Photography News
« on: October 13, 2011, 09:38 »
My new creation is Stock Photography News ( http://microblogs.hlehnerer.com/ ). It went online at the end of September, and I think it is now good enough for me to present it here. But I am still working on it.

It pulls headline news from different stock photography blogs to make it easier to scan the information. You can then just pick what you like to read. I broke it down into different section: Microstock Blogs, Microtock Agencies, Microstock Forums, Stock Photographer Blogs, Stock Photography Agencies Blogs, Photography Magazines, Photography Blogs, Twitter Newspapers, and Links.

Hope you all will get use out of it.

Not sure if it will help me to drive traffic to my sites. But you don't have to do much after you setup a newspaper, and it makes the twitter information much more pleasant to read. Hope you will find my creations useful.

Off Topic / iPhone update to OS4
« on: June 28, 2010, 14:02 »
Here a tip for those of you that have problems updating your iPhone to OS 4:

If your backup of the iPhone takes more then 2 hours when trying to upgrade or even stop with an error message, then you could try this:

- deactivate in iTunes on your iPhone devise most off your apps
- deactivate in iTunes on your iPhone devise all your playlist and song to synchronize
- deactivate in iTunes on your iPhone devise sync to your photos
- click apply (bottom right) and sync
- disconnect you iPhone the normal way
- reconnect you iPhone and run the upgrade to OS 4
- activate in iTunes on your iPhone devise most off your apps
- activate in iTunes on your iPhone devise all your playlist and song to synchronize
- activate in iTunes on your iPhone devise sync to your photos
- sync you iPhone again with iTune

The only problem with this is that you have to rearrange all your icons again. Don't forget that you can build folders now.

This is just a tip. It probably doesn't work for everyone. And you do that on your own risk. But it worked for me.

Press Release

Microstock Infos: Shotshop - Berlin Based Royalty-Free Stock Agency Goes International http://bit.ly/bKIiUJ

Shotshop.com presents its stock photography collection in a brand new design and introduces a powerful, cutting-edge similarity search.

BERLIN, GERMANY, April 09, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Royalty-free stock agency Shotshop.com is the new player on the international stock photography market. The young, independent Berlin-based agency is now available to customers from all over the world with their new website relaunched in mid-March.

Shotshop.com quickly developed from an insider's tip to a well established part of the German-speaking market. With their high quality standards and fresh concepts, Shotshop is already a favourite agency for many advertisement agencies, publishers and companies when it comes to image research. "We are glad to offer Shotshop's services to customers worldwide now!", says Stephan Krmer, Creative Director of Shotshop GmbH.

"Customers want to find images, not search for them", Stephan Krmer is sure of. "Customers are tired of bad search results and masses of images. Long and complicated search procedures are of course a money and time issue." Easy operating functions and the aim to design the whole procedure of buying stock images as convenient as possible have always been part of Shotshop's business strategy. A unique search algorithm guarantees exact search results. Combined with editorial image recommendations, advanced search options, drag and drop functions and a similarity search, Shotshop offers a maximum of convenience during image research.

"Our new website uses one of the most powerful, cutting-edge similarity searches on the market, vSearch by pixolution," Stephan Krmer is proud to announce. "Our customers are now able to search intuitively for similar images and directly for certain colour schemes."

Besides their high technical standards, Shotshop has always focused on a high quality. Since their foundation, the agency wanted quality instead of quantity, unlike competitors in their price segment. Only images that meet the high Shotshop standards go into their stock. "Our editorial effort may be higher than in other agencies, but we are certain that it is worth it," explains Stephan Krmer. Shotshop's Money-Back Guarantee is the best assurance of the image quality they offer.

When it comes to pricing, the makers of Shotshop also wanted transparancy and convenience. The Standard Licence for an image with maximum resolution is available from 40 Dollar. There is also an extralarge XXL-Web Licence for only 15 Dollar. Licenced images may be used unlimited and as long as costumers like. A Bonus Programme allows frequent customers to collect points and get discounts up to 20% with the Silver- or GoldCards.

The "WANTED Collection" surprises with unusual and stylish images, proofing Shotshop's individually maintained image archive and agency style. "WANTED is an editor's choice where our editors pick their favourite images. Always original, subjective and off mainstream." promises Stephan Krmer. "Perfect for all who look for the extraordinary."
