So I received an email that I had more than 300 images accepted this year, so I was given a free 12-month membership to Creative Cloud Photography. That is very nice, but I am on Linux/Ubuntu and have been using the Gimp for my images for many years. I was going to download Photoshop to see if I can get it to work with Wine, but the download page does not let me download it and gives me a "not compatible" message. Is anybody using Adobe apps on Linux?

I had some images on photokore. Now I get an email that my images are on gettyimagesbank.com , a Korean sub site. Sure enough my images are being sold there. The site is all in Korean so I have no idea how to log in, etc. Anybody know what's going on?

Especially in the case of DT a lowering of the minimum threshold is long overdue. Do you think with SS taking the lead the other two agencies will wake up?

Driving around in Kaohsiung I was surprised to see city buses with 123rf advertising their images. Never seen stock photo sites advertised this way. Hope it works.This is just a screen grab from my dashboard camera.  Screenshot-PICT0055.AVI-1 by Shi Yali, on Flickr

I was wondering if anybody has tried jalbum with the pro license for selling stock directly. According to their web site the pro license ($99) provides

I have been trying to access pixmac.com the last few days but the site only displays in text mode, I tried Firefox, IE, Opera, but it is the same in each browser. Everything else works ok on my system. Does anybody else have this problem?

I submitted some images to 123rf today and next to each new file there is a check box, next to it, it says
Consider for inclusion to 123RF Editorial if rejected.
The box is checked by default. Never saw that before, I searched the FAQ and the blog but cannot find anything about this. I am not sure what it means. Does anyone know?

I noticed that istock seems to allow public domain images in unmodified form. Maybe I'm wrong but it looks like it to me. Just do a search for "Engraved Image" and you will see lots of images of old engravings. That's the first time I have seen something like that. So far I have only known of the Nasa images that have to be part of a design.

Has anyone tried selling images on Zooomr Marketplace? I noticed you can set your own prices but there is very little information on how it actually works. Zooomr seems to keep 10 or 20%.

SV showed some encouraging signs of life a few months back. For the last month or two it seems to be fading away. My sales are evaporating and in the midst of the Christmas season they show the same worn out images on the home page. Dried leaves on a cloth line? They must be dry by now. Has SV given up? Or are they just hibernating? What's your take?

I finally reached minimum payment amount at Albumo. Requested payment on September 13. Sent several messages to support. No reply. So far my payment is still "pending". Has anyone got paid there recently? How long does it usually take?

Has anyone received payments from SV recently? I am still waiting for my May payment (yes, I was over 10.-U$). According to their FAQ they are supposed to pay you 45 days after the end of the month, that would be July 15th. Sent email using their contact form, but no reply. Any advice?
